Among all the consultants I interviewed, Faisal stood out immediately because he was incredibly frank and never tried to market his services. Coming from an overrepresented background, I found other consultants often tried to force my stories into generic narratives, but Faisal instead helped me lean into my authentic experiences to show the admissions committee who I truly am. His structured approach to brainstorming helped me uncover powerful stories I would have missed, and his deep expertise was evident in his critical feedback on my resume and essays. He pushed me when I needed it most, remained accessible even during the busiest parts of the season, and transitioned from a consultant to a genuine mentor. I initially considered going through this process by myself, but I can safely say I could not have done it without his guidance. I cannot recommend Faisal enough!
After recieving rejection from 7 schools on my own I came back the following year prepared to try again with a consultant. I met with ~7 consultants all whom had different ideas about what went wrong and how they could help me. Faisal was a bit different, he didn’t set false expectations and he didn’t try to push me to buy some expensive package. What he did do was within moments of meeting me, having pre-read some of my information, was describe a story/version of myself that I felt could sell much better to schools. Over the next month he worked with me, meeting me where I was. At the time I was travelling for over 10 days but he adjusted to my schedule when that meant editing essays and my resume in ad hoc batches. He appreciated that I wanted to keep my voice in my essays and worked to preserve that while maintaining a high level of quality. When I started getting interview requests he walked me through a mock that prepared me perfectly for the real thing. At the end of the day, Faisal was instrumental in supporting me from going to complete rejection to acceptances from both Columbia and Kellogg. I am happy to recommend Faisal whose support throughout this process helped a ton especially while I was juggling my job, travel and, applications.
I had an outstanding experience working with Court Stroud as my MBA admissions consultant. From day one, he felt less like a hired advisor and more like a true coach and partner in the process.
Court brings an incredible depth of knowledge to the table, especially through his close involvement with AIGAC, and it really shows. He has a nuanced understanding of how different schools evaluate candidates, what actually matters in applications, and how to position a story strategically. I was consistently impressed by how thoughtful and intentional his guidance was.
What really set Court apart was his coaching style. He is patient, kind, and genuinely supportive, but also firm, honest, and strategic when it counts. He pushed me when I needed it, grounded me when I overthought things, and always kept the bigger picture in mind. The entire process felt like a collaboration, not a transaction.
Because of Court’s guidance, I was fortunate enough to earn admission to two M7 programs with over $100K in scholarships, as well as a T25 program with a full ride. I truly do not think those outcomes would have been possible without his support.
I would wholeheartedly recommend Court to anyone applying to business school. If you are looking for someone who is deeply knowledgeable, highly strategic, and genuinely invested in your success, he is an amazing choice.
When I started looking for MBA coaches, I had very little knowledge of the MBA process. I spoke to a few different consultants, but felt like most were a factory farm for MBA coaching; bringing you through the basics and relying on their credentials as a selling point. During my first meeting with Court, he gave me a path forward and a rundown of the approach we would take in order to achieve my goals. I felt a strong connection with Court during our first meeting and I’m glad I followed my instinct.
From the very beginning, Court assumed the role of teacher and psychiatrist. He taught me about writing actively rather than passively; expressing why I would be a welcome addition to each program rather than hoping I was up to their standards. He encouraged me to take pride in my achievements and to bring that passion forth in my essays and applications. Throughout the process, I was constantly battling a feeling of imposter syndrome. I felt like my college background and professional experience would not be enough to craft a strong application compared to my peers. Outside of my family and close friends, nobody has been as supportive as Court was during this process. He constantly reassured me and made sure I believed in myself, which ultimately translated directly to my applications. It was his recommendations that not only crafted my essays, but helped me get the exam score I was pursuing.
Beyond that, Court was instrumental in helping me identify my goals and strategically map out the path I am now pursuing. It not only changed the approach of my applications, but my goals in attending business school. I have never met someone more invested in the success of their students and I can’t express how grateful I am to have met him during one of the most stressful periods of my life.
Working with Court Stroud was truly transformative in my MBA application journey. Applying for the 2026 intake with a marketing background and GRE scores that were not my strongest left me feeling unsure about my chances. From our very first conversation, Court made it clear that my scores did not define my potential. He acknowledged them once, then shifted the conversation entirely to my experiences, values, and goals.
Court is compassionate, thoughtful, and deeply committed to the people he works with. He was consistently available, never made me feel like an inconvenience, and brought warmth and professionalism to every interaction. At times when my own confidence wavered, his belief in me did not. He helped me uncover the most compelling parts of my story, shape my narrative, and communicate it with clarity and conviction.
Our sessions were equal parts strategy and encouragement. Court guided me step by step, always patient and honest, and tailored his advice to who I was rather than relying on a template. I always felt seen as an individual, not just as an application file.
Chicago Booth was my dream program. Since I live and work in Chicago, the school meant a great deal to me, and I was intimidated by the strength of the applicant pool. With Court’s support, my anxiety gave way to focus and purpose. Together we built a profile I was genuinely proud of, and I was ultimately admitted to Booth.
I recommend Court wholeheartedly. He is much more than an MBA admissions coach. He is an advocate, a mentor, and a genuinely kind human being who believes in his students until they learn to believe in themselves.
I worked with Faisal during my MBA application process and was fortunate to be admitted to both Chicago Booth and Kellogg, and even received a merit-based scholarship to Booth where I decided to attend. He was especially impactful in helping me with my essays.
Rather than simply editing drafts, he asked thoughtful, detailed questions that pushed me to clarify my experiences, motivations, and long-term goals. He helped me frame my background and skill set in a way that genuinely resonated with top business school programs, while still sounding authentic to who I am.
His guidance brought structure, clarity, and strategy to the entire process, and I’m confident my applications were significantly stronger because of his support. I would highly recommend him to anyone applying to competitive MBA programs and looking for thoughtful, personalized guidance.
Working with Faisal was a total game-changer for my MBA journey. He really helped me nail down my story, goals, and ambitions in a way that was authentic to me. Even though I reached out just a month before my first deadlines, his quick turnaround times and constant availability made an “impossible” timeline work perfectly. He was incredibly organized, which was exactly what I needed to stay focused and on top of every requirement across all my applications. Having his end-to-end support took so much stress out of the high-pressure process and gave me the confidence I needed to hit submit. Most importantly, the results speak for themselves: I received offers with scholarships totaling nearly $250k across my schools! I can’t recommend him enough to anyone looking for a strategic partner who delivers incredible results. Thank you again, Faisal!
Like many others from non-traditional backgrounds, I wasn’t sure how to approach the MBA application process. I didn’t have big brand names on my resume, and coming from an overrepresented nationality added another layer of uncertainty. I also started late—took the GMAT in the summer and was still finalising school choices as round 1 deadlines loomed.
I was looking for someone who could not only understand where I was coming from but help me turn that background into a strength. That’s exactly what Faisal did.
From our first conversation, he stood out—calm, thoughtful, and honest. He didn’t try to impress me with buzzwords or cookie-cutter advice. Instead, he helped me focus. There was a long list of things I could fix, but he helped me cut through the noise—pushing me to retake the GMAT to strengthen my profile, while also letting go of anything that wouldn’t actually move the needle.
More importantly, he helped me reframe how I saw my own story. I hadn’t realised how much of my experience could actually be a strength until he pushed me to dig deeper. He gave very specific, actionable feedback that made each draft better than the last—not just in content, but in clarity and tone. His comments always made me think harder, and they made my writing process stronger.
Faisal also genuinely cares. When I missed internal deadlines or delayed a draft, he was often more worried than I was—but instead of pressuring, he calmly pushed me to stick to our plan. When personal stuff came up, he didn’t flinch—he just helped me reorganise timelines to make sure the plan still worked for me. I could always rely on his turnaround time.
When I was debating whether to apply to Duke last minute, he encouraged me to go for it. That application turned out to be one of my best—and even ended up earning me a scholarship. I wouldn’t have even submitted it if he hadn’t nudged me toward progress over perfection.
In the end, I was admitted to both Duke and Kellogg—something I couldn’t have imagined when I started this journey. Looking back, I’m incredibly grateful to have worked with someone like Faisal. He brought a balance of structure, sharp feedback, and genuine empathy that made all the difference. I’ve already recommended him to others and wouldn’t hesitate to do so again.
I cannot recommend Faisal enough. His expertise, personalized approach, and unwavering support were instrumental in my application success.
After an initial consultation with Chris of MBA Prep School, I was given the profiles of several consultants available. Faisal’s profile immediately stood out for three key reasons: his admissions committee experience at Booth, his background as a person of color that mirrored my own, and his consistently excellent reviews highlighting his organized, structured approach.
During what became an unexpectedly hectic year, Faisal proved to be an incredibly supportive partner. He showed remarkable understanding when I missed deadlines and worked flexibly to maximize our limited time together. Even when I submitted materials at the last minute (for which I’m truly grateful for his patience), Faisal helped me craft compelling applications that presented my story cohesively.
Beyond our scheduled sessions, Faisal generously provided thorough answers to all my additional questions about the application process. His ability to provide candid feedback while maintaining encouragement was particularly valuable. He helped me develop a clear personal brand and articulate my unique value proposition without compromising my authentic voice.
What truly sets Faisal apart is his commitment to each client. Unlike consultants who manage large rosters, Faisal works with only a handful of applicants at a time, ensuring personalized attention. His mock interview preparation gave me actionable tips that significantly boosted my confidence.
I can’t recommend Faisal highly enough for anyone considering an admissions consultant. His combination of insider knowledge, strategic guidance, and genuine dedication makes him an exceptional advisor in the MBA application journey.
I came to MBA Pre School looking for an MBA coach. In Court, I found far more: a top application partner, editor, mentor, life coach—and ultimately, a friend.
I originally chose to work with Court because of his outstanding credentials. An HBS alumnus, professor at top U.S. schools, and a deeply-integrated member of the GMAC community, he knows exactly what elite programs seek. His writing, often featured in outlets like Forbes, along with his extensive media background, made him an exceptional editor and a crucial asset during interviews.
Court pairs his background with a meticulous coaching system. His frameworks helped me sharpen the core elements of my story and uncover building blocks I simply hadn’t thought of before. His reviews on my drafts—always swift and thorough—remarkably improved my writing in ways I’ll be carrying with me for the rest of my career.
But Court’s greatest strength lies in the personal support he gives to the applicants he works with. He invested deeply in understanding me, pushing me to grow not just as an applicant, but as an individual. His candid feedback and unwavering encouragement prompted me to address any insecurities and stay motivated during the many tough moments. Without a doubt, Court brought out the best of me and helped turn my non-traditional background into my greatest strength.
Whether as an MBA coach or as simply a life mentor, truly, Court has my highest and most heartfelt recommendation.
When I began my MBA application journey, I spoke with a few consultants, but Faisal truly stood out. I was blown away by his ability to not only craft a compelling story around my background but also articulate how it could align with and support my MBA goals. Choosing to work with him was one of the best decisions I made during the application process. Coming from a semi-nontraditional background in eCommerce, being slightly older than the typical full-time applicant, and not having a clearly defined post-MBA plan, I initially felt unsure about my story. But Faisal helped me shape a narrative that felt authentic and powerful. He had a rare ability to zoom in on the details while keeping the big picture in mind—clarifying my backstory, why I wanted to pursue an MBA, and what I hoped to get out of it. Throughout the process, he helped me highlight my strongest qualities, unique experiences, and extracurricular involvement in a way that tied everything together seamlessly. With my project management background, I especially appreciated Faisal’s structured and deadline-driven approach. His process was highly organized, timelines were clear and consistent, and he remained responsive and supportive every step of the way. Overall, I would highly recommend Faisal. He strikes a great balance between being realistic and strategic—helping you present the most authentic version of yourself while positioning your story in the strongest possible light. I had a very narrow list of target schools, and thanks to his guidance, I’m thrilled to be attending Booth.
I decided to work with Faisal as my MBA consultant just two months before the Round 2 deadlines — with no clear plan and without even a GMAT score. Fast forward a few months, and I am now choosing between my top schools: Columbia, Kellogg, Darden, and Tuck.
What I appreciated most about working with Faisal was his ability to bring out strong, authentic stories. He helped me craft a cohesive narrative across my applications that felt true to my experiences and resonated with each school’s values. His organization was another major strength — Faisal broke down the entire process into clear, manageable steps, making an overwhelming journey feel structured and achievable. Finally, he was also an incredible motivator, keeping me focused, positive, and on track even during the most stressful moments. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better partner during this process and highly recommend him to all prospective MBA applicants.
I had a nontraditional background and wasn’t sure how to position myself effectively for top MBA programs. I also had some gaps in my candidacy—like a resume that didn’t follow a straight corporate path. Faisal was incredibly helpful in identifying the strengths in my story and showing me how to tie everything together into a clear, compelling narrative. One of the things I appreciated most was his honesty—he’s not going to push you to apply somewhere just to say you did. He gave me a realistic view of which schools I was truly competitive for, and helped me put together an application that played to my strengths. His guidance was strategic, collaborative, and always grounded in what would actually resonate with admissions committees.
I cannot recommend Faisal highly enough! From the very beginning of my MBA application journey, he provided invaluable support, guidance, and encouragement. Despite having only two years of work experience with limited promotions, he helped me craft a strong and compelling application that ultimately led to my admission.
One of the things I appreciated most was Faisal’s meticulous approach to essay feedback. He helped me refine my stories to ensure they answered the prompts effectively while still showcasing my personality, strengths, and unique perspectives. His ability to strike the right balance between structure and authenticity made a huge difference in making my application stand out.
Beyond his expertise, what truly sets Faisal apart is his dedication and responsiveness. He was always available to answer my questions, provide timely feedback, and discuss strategies for improvement.
If you’re looking for an admissions consultant who is not only knowledgeable but also genuinely invested in your success, I wholeheartedly recommend Faisal. I’m incredibly grateful for his guidance throughout this process!
Working with Chris was one of the best experiences of my career. I initially sought his help to write a strong essay, but the journey became so much more. He challenged me to reflect deeply on the person I aspired to be—something I had never done before in my professional life. That introspection enabled me to craft a unique and authentic story, ultimately helping me secure my spot at HBS. Chris was an absolute pleasure to work with, and I can’t recommend him highly enough to any prospective candidate. Regardless of the outcome, I would do it all over again in a heartbeat!
When I spoke with Court for the first time, I was feeling demotivated because I couldn’t achieve my desired GMAT score. He encouraged me to consider the EA, reminded me that the exam isn’t the most important factor, and advised me not to dwell on it. His guidance motivated me to apply. Throughout the entire process, I felt fully supported. He responded to every text and email within an hour of receiving them.
He began by taking the time to get to know me in detail, which allowed him to guide me in crafting my story in the best way possible. Then, he explained how to effectively convey that story in my essays, providing personalized advice on each one and paying close attention to every detail. Finally, he helped me prepare for interviews through mock sessions, enabling me to approach each one with confidence.
Even after I was accepted, he continued to offer valuable advice on choosing the right program. Choosing Court as my mentor was the best decision I made.
I am truly fortunate to have worked with Court throughout my MBA application process. From the outset, he demonstrated unwavering confidence in my ability to compete for admission into top MBA programs. He meticulously guided me through each step, uncovering aspects of my story that I had overlooked but were essential to my application.
The journey to business school is rigorous, and I encountered challenges with my recommenders. However, Court was always available to provide the necessary support. His targeted interview preparation was particularly impactful, and I firmly believe his coaching was instrumental in my success during the HBS interview.
Court is not only a compassionate individual but also refreshingly straightforward. His candidness and encouragement were invaluable, especially when the process felt daunting. His guidance not only prepared me for the application but also inspired personal growth.
I cannot recommend Court highly enough for your applications!
When I received an interview invitation from Stanford Graduate School of Business, I had one week to squeeze in two mock interviews to prepare. I completed one with my primary coach and was lucky enough to get Kevin for the other.
Kevin’s tone, pace, and question style in our mock interview were extremely close to what I experienced in my real interview, and I was admitted. His expertise in every aspect of Stanford is obvious from the first time you speak with him.
Kevin also kept in contact after the mock interview, even making introductions to others with similar interests to mine despite not being my primary coach. He felt like an old friend after I had spoken to him twice, and he was invested in my success despite only knowing me for a couple of weeks. I cannot recommend Kevin enough for anyone with GSB high on their target list.
Working with Court on my MBA applications exceeded all expectations, culminating in acceptance at Stanford Graduate School of Business. I interviewed several coaches, and I knew Court was the right choice in our first consultation call.
My background is very non-traditional, so I wasn’t sure that attending a school like Stanford would be possible for me. Court assured me that I wasn’t crazy for applying to GSB, and that we could produce a compelling application that would give me a good chance.
I knew I would need help making my unconventional story coherent with a limited word count. During the writing process, I learned a lot about myself and found that Court was always there with honest and pragmatic feedback that made my writing shine. Court was very good at pulling anecdotes out of me that didn’t seem important at first, but later came to define my application and interview. No stone was left unturned, and I am 100% confident that I submitted the best application possible.
Court was always willing to make time to talk, and it was obvious that he truly cared about me and my future. By the end of the process Court felt like a friend who was very invested in my success, because that’s what he was. He’s a wonderful person and coach, and I would recommend him to anyone looking for help on their MBA applications.
Working with Court on my graduate school applications was truly an extraordinary experience. From the very beginning, his responsiveness was beyond impressive. He was always quick to provide thoughtful and insightful feedback, making me feel supported throughout the entire process. What truly set Court apart was his genuine interest in getting to know me on a personal level. He wasn’t just helping me polish an application but was committed to ensuring it reflected my unique experiences, goals, and personality. Thanks to Court’s guidance and expertise, we were able to submit everything ahead of schedule. His strategic advice was instrumental in my acceptance to my two top-choice Master’s programs. I truly couldn’t have achieved that achievement without him. This experience was surely more special because I gained a true friend. I am so thankful for Court’s unwavering support, and I’ll always be grateful for his professional guidance and the friendship we’ve built during this journey.
I was introduced to Court through a referral close to my application deadline, and I reached out for his assistance with a particularly challenging situation. He not only agreed to help but also collaborated with me closely, forming an amazing team.
I am deeply grateful for his commitment, which was key in my acceptance into the top MBA program I was aiming for. It has transformed my life.
The preparation process is rigorous and demanding, yet Court’s guidance was the support and advantage I needed. He has a remarkable ability to go deep and bring out one’s best qualities.
I absolutely recommend working with him.
Through out my whole application journey for MBA, Christine was very professional, responsive, and genuine. I was targeting Columbia from the beginning and she was there for every steps that required. I didn’t not set any budget on hiring consultant because my only goal was to get admitted to the school that I want. I am based in New York and I was only targeting Columbia. I talked to about 10 different consultants including some consultants that my MBA friends recommended. From the complimentary video call with Christine, I was able to know right away that she is professional and very experienced. With her solid background of working at admission offices at different schools, she really knows how to effectively tell your own, authentic and personal story into application essays. When it comes to MBA application, I knew that it’s all about strategy on how to present yourself through applications (essays, resume and interview) and how to be the well rounded applicant for schools. With her many years of experience at this field, she really knows how to craft the best application. I am very happy with the result and deeply thankful to her for everything.
Faisal was an incredible consultant to work with during my MBA application journey. I jumped into the process with limited knowledge on the best and most efficient way to approach the daunting MBA applications. I did not know where to begin, how to identify the right school fit for my career goals, and objectively consider the weak areas of my application.
Faisal provided a structured approach from the moment we started working together. He clearly talked me through an achievable timeline to submit a strong application to the schools of my choice. In addition, he provided objective feedback on the areas of weakness within my application— to address these, he provided the resources, whether that meant working with a tutor to obtain a higher test score, or challenging my post-MBA short and long-term career goals to ensure my essays were compelling to the admissions committee.
While the MBA journey was filled with a rollercoaster of emotions, I received interviews at two of my dream schools and ultimately was admitted to one of them. I can confidently say that I have a clear path on how to approach the MBA program and obtain my short-term career goal. This clarity and focus came from the many conversations Faisal and I had together over the course of the application process. I would encourage any future MBA application to work with Faisal and start the process as early as you can — Faisal will be able to focus your efforts immediately to ensure you have the strongest application possible.
Court is the best investment I’ve made in my professional development. Our almost year-long collaboration transformed me into a stronger writer, a better storyteller, and a more engaging public speaker.
The journey of writing my MBA applications with Court was incredibly fruitful, not only because I gained admission to two Ivy League schools, but also because it significantly advanced my professional skills. I came out of our collaboration as a more confident and polished leader.
Before selecting Court, I spoke with 14 different highly-rated consultants. Some of them were risk-averse, especially with non-traditional backgrounds like mine. Many of them leaned on their experience as former admissions officers. Court leveraged his background in communications, entertainment, journalism, and publishing. And precisely these skills proved invaluable in crafting a compelling application. If you wanted to become a Michelin star chef, would you choose to train under a food critic or a Michelin star chef? Court is this Michelin star MBA-chef. He has this rare talent for uncovering the good story, no matter where it originates.
From our first meeting, I immediately felt trust in Court’s expertise and his genuine interest in my story. I consider myself lucky that he also wanted to work with me. His feedback was always clear and constructive, and his sense of humour made every session enjoyable, helping his insights resonate even more. The MBA application process is challenging, with many highs and lows. Court was always there to listen, support, and empathise. By the end of our collaboration, he was not only an effective coach but also a friend.
Despite the seven-hour time difference, communication was seamless and quick. Court’s responsiveness and commitment ensured that I never felt the distance.
When I build my startup, I hope Court will again be the person who helps me take my stories to the world.
For anyone looking for the best MBA coach, I wholeheartedly recommend Court.
Court was a game-changer for me. His talent for bringing out my strengths and helping me define my personal storytelling was incredible. His support empowered me not only to craft an application that truly conveyed who I am, but also to reflect on my achievements and personal branding beyond the MBA admission.
Even with a tight deadline, Court was always there, providing insightful feedback and going above and beyond. Unlike other consultants who felt transactional, Court made me feel like a trusted mentee. His support was genuine and personal, and his curiosity in knowing me and building a real relationship was remarkable and refreshing.
Court’s support throughout the entire application process was phenomenal. He broke down each step into manageable tasks, from refining my resume to helping me best position myself. His structured approach made the overwhelming application process feel doable and even enjoyable. Court’s interview prep was also fantastic. He conducted thorough mock interviews, providing clear and practical advice that boosted my confidence and helped me present my best self. His feedback was always constructive and tailored to my unique experiences and goals. Plus, his pricing was fair and justified, especially given the level of attention and expertise he provided.
Working with Court was the best decision I could make. He’s not just a coach but a mentor and friend. If you’re serious about your dream school, I highly recommend Court. I will continue engaging with him as a coach and I’m so grateful for his support.
Court is the most thoughtful mentor I’ve ever encountered, and he will become a true friend to you. He has gone above and beyond to help me countless times, always offering support when I needed it most. Thanks to his guidance and unwavering encouragement, I ultimately gained admission to Columbia University. His mentorship has been invaluable, and I cannot recommend him highly enough.
I’m from Mexico City and had previously worked with two other consultants who weren’t confident in my chances of getting into a top MBA program. Fortunately, one of Court’s former mentees recommended him to me. From our first 1:1, Court believed in my ability to craft a strong application and was a constant source of encouragement when I struggled with the GMAT. He served as both a psychologist and a motivator, always pushing me to reach my full potential and letting my true personality shine through. Court’s thought-provoking questions led to introspective work, helping me express myself authentically in my applications. His clear and straightforward method was ideal for balancing work, applications, GMAT prep, and personal life. Choosing Court as my mentor was the best decision I made, and I’m incredibly grateful for his knowledge, professionalism, and support.
Faisal undoubtedly provided exceptional support throughout my MBA application journey! His flexibility accommodated my demanding schedule, ensuring no deadlines were missed. He seamlessly tied together my diverse experiences, crafting a compelling narrative for the admissions committee. His candid feedback for interviews was invaluable, sharpening my presentation skills. Highly recommended for his professionalism and expertise.
I could not have had a better advisor and mentor than Court. I spoke with various MBA consultants and did not have that same connection than with Court. He is organized, knows what the programs want an helps you get there no matter what, I got accepted to 4 schools thanks to his mentorship. The best consultant in the business!
Going to b-school has been on my agenda for a few years, but I spent most of my preparation for my GMAT and, for lack of wisdom, did not really start looking at the application essays 1.5 months prior to the R2 deadline. I was more than overwhelmed. There is so much information online and from students/alumni that I connected with that exacerbates my situation and makes me even more nervous to start my essays. That’s when I know that I need a great consultant to guide me through the process.
My criteria for selecting a consultant is that the consultant needs to be 1/ super organized and structured. I have 8+ years of experience in various industries. I need someone who can help me shape my stories that best showcase the diversity of my work experience so that my longer YoE is not a weakness to my profile. Also with only 1 month left on the deadline, I need a project management guru on my side. 2/ able to best communicate their vast inside knowledge of the world of MBA application to me. I believe top consultants, as a baseline, have all the knowledge. But, I need someone who can synthesize and translate it well for my case. 3/ responsiveness. Again, my timeline is crunched, so responsiveness is a key.
I reached out to many consultants in the beginning, but Faisal stood out from the get-go. We got in touch through a call less than 2 days from my first query. In the 30 minutes, Faisal not only outperformed other consultants that I talked to on the 3 criteria above, he also started to share how he planned to shape my story AND structure the works to be done, broken down by days.
In the following month that we were working together, Faisal challenged me hard on each component of my story. He knew when I half-baked a story or when what I wrote was not impactful. He dug deep into what motivated me, what drove me, what I learned from each experience. That approach radically changed the initial draft of my application. Each part of the application truly represented different facets of my story in an elegant way – thanks to Faisal. I am very happy with the application that I submitted – and even happier when Columbia Business School wanted me to matriculate this Fall 2023.
I had the privilege of working with Court as my coach during the MBA application process for my dream university, New York University. His guidance was instrumental in my success. Court’s expertise and support were remarkable. He took the time to understand my aspirations and experiences, providing personalized advice. His meticulous feedback helped me go beyond surface-level goals, allowing me to express my authentic self. He pushed me to convey the value I could bring to the university and fellow students, giving my application a compelling edge.
Court’s professionalism and dedication were evident throughout. His prompt feedback ensured I met deadlines while maintaining quality, which was no easy feat considering I contacted him less than a month before the submission deadline. Through the process, he offered constructive criticism in a supportive manner, refining my thoughts and maintaining my voice.
In addition to essay guidance, Court provided valuable insights on the overall application process. From selecting recommenders to interview preparation, his expertise and understanding of admissions committees gave me the confidence to present my best self.
I highly recommend Court to anyone starting their MBA application journey. His expertise, commitment, and passion for storytelling make him an outstanding coach. I am forever grateful for his guidance and support in achieving this incredible opportunity.
I had the opportunity to work with Court during my MBA application process, and I cannot recommend him enough. As someone who had concerns about my chances of getting into a top program, Court provided unwavering support and dedication that helped me build the confidence I needed to succeed.
Court’s attention to detail and brainstorming skills helped me craft compelling essays that showcased my strengths and unique qualities, making me a competitive candidate for top programs despite my below-average test scores. His availability to always discuss my concerns and offer reassurance was invaluable, especially during moments of self-doubt.
With Court’s guidance, I will be attending my top choice, Kellogg, with a scholarship. I now consider Court a mentor and a lifelong friend, and I credit him for being instrumental in my MBA journey.
If you are embarking on the MBA application process and seeking someone who is dedicated, supportive, and detail-oriented, I highly recommend Court. He has been an integral part of my success, and I am grateful for all he has done for me.
I highly recommend Faisal for his exceptional guidance and support throughout my MBA application process. His expertise, dedication, and personalized approach were instrumental in helping me secure admission to my top school choices. I believe he would be a valuable asset to any MBA candidate, especially those who, like me, may feel overwhelmed by the extensive research and preparation required.
From the beginning, Faisal immediately put me at ease with his comprehensive knowledge of the admissions landscape and his unwavering commitment to my success. Despite starting from scratch, he provided invaluable guidance to navigate the complex application process, offering specific solutions and troubleshooting challenges along the way.
One notable aspect of Faisal’s support was his ability to work effectively within time constraints: during my application process, I faced a very time-consuming personal circumstance as well as a hectic work schedule that coincided with application deadlines. However, Faisal consistently worked around these time constraints, ensuring that I made progress without compromising the quality of my application. I vividly recall feeling rushed as I approached one of the final deadlines, and I was losing steam after a strenuous application process targeting multiple schools. In that critical moment, Faisal encouraged me to push through and further refine my essay, guiding me to truly showcase my full potential. And I am so glad he did as I was admitted at that school!
Beyond his technical expertise, Faisal proved to be an incredible motivator. He recognized my capabilities and consistently encouraged me to improve my application, challenging me to refine my essays, enhance my interview skills, and present myself with confidence. His constructive criticism and unwavering support pushed me to achieve a level of excellence that I had not thought possible.
At the beginning of my application journey, I spoke with various top admissions consultants. About 5 minutes into my conversation with Court, I knew that he was the one I wanted to work with.
What made Court stand out? Instead of focusing on my weaknesses and how my profile needs to improve, Court made an effort to learn what drives me, what I want to do, and what makes me who I am — he was already thinking about how we can shape my application. I could tell that he was going to be a true partner throughout the process.
Court is extremely knowledgeable of the MBA process. His approach is very detailed and truly helped me identify my strengths so that I could shine in my application. Although his process was structured, Court was flexible with his approach. He was willing to change how we work together and craft my application so that I was comfortable enough to put my full self into the application. He helped me identify my goals, strengths, and how my prior professional and personal experiences connect with how I can contribute to each MBA program I applied to.
He went above and beyond preparing me to write my essays, even helping me get in touch with alumni at my target schools. I had multiple essay iterations, and he provided thorough feedback to each. Court helped me identify my differentiating factors and bring light to stories that showed my strengths. He helped me see how experiences that I initially thought were unimportant or irrelevant actually were vital in sharing my story and what I could add to the MBA community.
With Court’s help, I was able to show more about my candidacy with each component — the essays, recommendations, short answers, and the interview. He helped me connect that thread throughout my application so that the admissions committee would not be left with questions.
I am an extremely anxious person, so although Court helped me craft the best application I could have submitted, I was still nervous that I wasn’t going to get interview invites or be admitted. Court helped me manage my anxiety and trust the process – his process. He helped me believe in myself and feel like the schools I applied to were actually in reach. Note, he wasn’t just telling me what I wanted to hear. He was candid in where my application could be stronger, but instead of focusing on my weaknesses, he helped me bolster my strengths in other areas of the application.
I was accepted into my top choice (Wharton!) with scholarship – something only 30% of admitted students achieve. Court helped me achieve this.
I contacted Court about almost only one month left to submit my round 2 applications. After talking to him in the free consulting session, I decided that he was the coach I sought for.
I come from an international background, also non-traditional background. During the entire process, Court has been extremely friendly (with a great sense of humor, too!), patient with my inquiries and questions, and respectful of my strengths, weaknesses, background experience, and decisions. When the submission dates became imminent, Court performed extraordinarily quickly and responsibly to help me polish my materials at a swift pace. Then, Covid-19 struck, my mother went sick, and I had to take care of her and work on the final touch of my materials. Court was very supportive and considerate of my schedule, school choices, and potential backup plans. Whenever I was about to lose faith in finishing and submitting in time, Court was there to listen, encourage, and give advice. I applied for a mix of MBAs and Masters of Real Estate. We finally made it. I had offers from UCB, Columbia, and MIT, and ultimately I chose MIT.
From my own experience with Court, you won’t regret choosing him to accompany and guide you through the arduous application process. Court is responsible and caring, always replies on time or even quicker, and never lets you down. He is also a kind and lovely person with a great writing style, a sense of humor, and without bias. He is the type of coach who really would like to get to know you, understand your needs, listen to your frustrations, ambitions, and future goals, and in the end, help you to figure out a feasible plan and make sure you rest in good hands.
The MBA prep school’s website is also resourceful and helped me to save a lot of time. Honestly, the package price is quite reasonable, even a great deal, for the actual service you get from Court. I eventually became friends with Court after my application was made. I want to give him 10 stars, but the website only allows 5 🙂
Faisal from MBA Prep School is the portrait of professionalism, subtle humor and MBA expertise. I worked with Faisal to build a compelling application just a handful of weeks before my application deadline. We didn’t have a long runway and to make things more stressful, I applied to one school. The stakes were high. But with Faisal’s timeliness and personalized dedication, I’m thrilled to have been accepted to a dual-degree program (MMM) at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
What impressed me most about Faisal was his deep knowledge of the MBA admissions process and his ability to help me craft a narrative that set me apart from other applicants. He was always responsive and provided timely feedback and support, which helped me stay focused throughout the stressful process. I want to particularly note how helpful Faisal was in facilitating the stories I used for my essays. We initially reviewed one of my essays for the application and after reading through it together, we felt it was “okay”. Not terrible but also nothing spectacular. It was at that moment when Faisal reminded me of a small detail I had written on a draft of my resume to use as the foundation of one of my essays. I didn’t realize the level of impact it would have, but I trusted his advice and completely rewrote my essay after he reminded me how special of a story it was. It ended up being such a strong essay that my admissions officer mentioned it to me over the phone after I had gotten accepted. If it weren’t for Faisal’s support and encouragement, my essays wouldn’t have been as polished and unique as they were by the time I submitted my material. Faisal was my champion in making sure my stories were clear to Kellogg. I also loved that Faisal connected me with a former MMM student who previously worked with him, and now that Kellogg alum is a dear friend of mine thanks to Faisal’s initial introduction.
Truthfully, Faisal began as my MBA admissions consultant but somewhere along the way, he became an older brother who I could speak to in confidence about my personal and professional endeavors as I navigated this chapter of applying to business school and now earning my MBA + MS in Design Innovation this summer at Kellogg. He’s a true partner and a brilliant advocate, and I feel like he always went above and beyond to see me succeed. I especially loved my mock interview with Faisal the day before my Kellogg interview. I firmly believe that my preparation with him beforehand led to such a meaningful interview with the admissions officer the next day. The second my interview ended, I texted Faisal, “I don’t think it could have gone any more perfectly.” With Faisal’s guidance, I had a newfound confidence and was able to present myself in the best possible light to Kellogg. I used all of the pointers that Faisal shared and I asked refreshing questions at the end of my interview, which ultimately led to my application being accepted into one of the top business schools in the world.
My success is Faisal’s success. I’m grateful to have had such a phenomenal admissions consultant in my corner but even more fortunate to have found a life-long mentor.
With deep gratitude, Tabassum
When starting my MBA journey to apply to schools, I needed someone to help guide me through the MBA admission process. I wanted to be with someone that had experience and knew inside and out about the admissions committee and how the process worked. My friend encouraged me to seek out a great consultant because even though he had a 730 GMAT score, he was admitted to a less-than-ideal business school for his score and GPA.
Before starting the process, I reached out to two consultants. With my consultation meeting with Faisal, I felt very much at ease with him. I wanted to work with him during this process! I knew I had some marks against me, such as being over the median age of the average student profile, I am 34, and failing a class in my undergraduate school.
It would be an uphill battle attempting to get into certain top 25 MBA programs I was aiming for. In the beginning, Faisal worked with me to create a DNA sheet of who I was. This information really helped with the different essays the different programs asked for. Faisal worked with me holistically on how to best craft the essays during the application process. I have a music background which we integrated into the essays and the interviews. He helped me think about my leadership times and my end goals. He was very kind when working with me when I was formulating ideas. My overall timeframe was short; I had less than six weeks from the start to submission of the essays at the different universities for round 2 deadlines. Faisal set up the dates the deliverables were due. If one sticks to the plan, it was possible to apply to the universities by the round 2 deadlines. This really helped me to have many short-term due dates to be able to submit by the application deadline! I applied to five programs, and I had three interviews. Faisal and his team really helped prepare me for the interview process. When hearing back from the universities, I was accepted to a top 25 MBA program! I am so excited! I know that without Faisal and his team, none of this would be possible. If you are looking for guidance and someone that has years of experience, I would look no more! Faisal works very hard for his clients, and I couldn’t be happier.
A friend recommended MBAPrepSchool to me for the business school application process. I started my MBA journey a little late, but Faisal was able to tailor this process to my needs and timeline so I was still able to apply for round 1. I started working with Faisal officially around mid-June of 2022, which was the best decision I’ve made for my application process. I came in without even knowing what programs I wanted to apply to. Faisal really took the time to explain all aspects of the application process and outline key strategies based on my situation. Rather than just look at me as a statistic, Faisal took the effort to know me as a person and kept me in check during the whole process to ensure we are able to meet my application deadlines.
Faisal was very forthright about the whole process and my prospects. I was an Asian male applying to primarily very Asian-heavy programs with mid-600s GMAT scores. Especially with the timeline of the applications and my progress at the time, I was not expecting great results. Despite these short-comings, Faisal never shot me down or made me feel like I shouldn’t apply to any of the top programs. In fact, he supported every decision I made but clearly outlined my strengths and weaknesses from an objective perspective. He devised a clear strategic plan and flowchart for me to put my best foot forward. On top of that, Faisal’s personality makes it really easy to open up to him, and therefore working with him during the application process felt like working with a friend. What really impressed me was how he was able to help me clarify my own personal and professional goals through our conversations. During this process, I was able to really figure out why I wanted to get an MBA and what I wanted to get out of it. For me, I think this is the most valuable takeaway.
As of the time of this writing, I have been accepted to both programs I applied for Round 1. One of which is one of my top choices. I even received a sizable scholarship. I can’t thank Faisal enough for his support and guidance during this process. I highly recommend Faisal to anyone who is looking for a knowledgeable, supportive, and personable MBA consultant.
As someone from an overrepresented background with a non-linear career trajectory, I knew that it would be crucial for me to have an admissions consultant who can help me structure a compelling story for a top MBA program. I spoke to a number of consultants based all over the globe and found that Court had the best action plan to support me through the grueling MBA admissions process.
Court was able to help me bring out various aspects of my work experience, extracurriculars, and personal life in creative ways that made me confident about my ability to apply to top MBA schools. He always had availability on his calendar and would also go out of the way to schedule a time slot, when necessary, despite me being in a very divergent time zone.
Court also played the role of a mentor through the many months we worked on my applications. He always believed in the strength of my candidacy even when I would doubt it and also offered to connect me with his acquaintances in the industry I’m interested in post-MBA.
Thanks to Court I was accepted into Wharton Lauder, my dream program, with a sizeable Lauder fellowship. I highly recommend MBA hopefuls, and especially candidates with non-traditional profiles, to work with Court as they begin their MBA journeys.
If you’re considering working with a consultant for the MBA application process, Christina is a stellar choice that you will not regret. I worked with Christina on an hourly basis and received admit to CBS, Wharton, and Harvard.
At the start of the application process, I had completed my GMAT and was acquainting myself with the different requirements for each school. I was naïve, thinking that I’d be able to tackle the process myself using a self-guided MBA application platform. After speaking with current students and alumni, I found that most of the students used a consultant and began seeking one out for myself. During my intro call with Christina, I immediately noticed the difference between her and other consultants. Christina was honest and direct; she gave me candid feedback on where I currently stand while emphasizing the importance of each piece in the application package, without being a “salesperson” in any sense. Christina genuinely cares for her clients and wants to see them reach their highest potential. She pushes you to give it your all and in return, does the same for you. She will spend long hours in the night mulling over your application, not out of obligation but out of care for you and passion for her work.
I most valued Christina for her: – Incredible writing: One of my original motives for working with a consultant was feedback on my essay and resume. While I received so much more throughout our time together, this was truly where Christina really stood out. Each document she receives would be returned with more feedback than you could imagine possible. She carefully considers the line of content and ensures there is value added. She’s a fantastic writer, so her comments are always very on point. – Attention to detail: Nothing slips by Christina, and as such, she becomes extremely well acquainted with your profile and ensures you are leveraging everything that makes your application unique. Often Christina would suggest including parts of my experience that I had shared previously in passing that I even forgot myself. This also means that she is a powerful accountability partner. If you say you’ll do something, you better believe she will check to make sure that you do! – Actionable feedback: At the start of our work together, Christina shared actional feedback to strengthen my existing profile. Much of the EC work that I believe to have made a significant impact spurred from her invaluable suggestions. She understands what type of experience (professionally or personally) will stand out and guides you to enhance those areas. Setting these goals at the start of our work together allowed me to have results to share once it came to application submission. – Connections in the AdComs community: She often shares insider info from her vast network in the industry and brings these insights into your work together. – Caring personality: No one around me had gone through this process so Christina’s support made me feel not alone. She is kind and lovely, which makes working with her all the more pleasant. When she is strict, you can feel that it comes from a place of compassion. I am grateful to have made a friend in this process.
There are still so many reasons as to why Christina is a first-rate consultant, and I hope you have the opportunity to experience them for yourself.
I started my MBA application process by interviewing with ~5 different consultants. I chose to work with Faisal after our 30-minute consultation. My first impression of him was that he was thoughtful, likable, candid, and wouldn’t sugarcoat the process for me, and he believed in me. These impressions were all confirmed throughout our time working together. Further, his prior experience at Booth was a big selling point for me, as this was one of my top choices. I am a former student athlete, and my story is centered around my athletics background. My biggest fear was that my application would come across as overdone, since there are plenty of applicants with athletics backgrounds. I wanted to work with a consultant who could help me tailor my story to be authentic and unique. In working with Faisal, he asked me dozens of questions about my background, my athletics career, and my professional career. He took the time to get to know me and understand what makes me me. He helped me hone in on the aspects of my story that stood out, and pushed me to make my story more compelling across the application. In addition, there were other items that came up when working with Faisal I found extremely helpful that I hadn’t originally thought were that important. First, the process management Faisal helped with was massively helpful for me. He assigned weekly tasks, deadlines, and check ins. For someone who has a pretty demanding job, it was incredibly helpful to have someone tracking my progress and making sure I was on top of the comprehensive application. Second, Faisal pushed me to research each program in much more depth than I had originally thought necessary. For the “Why X School” essays, I knocked it out of the park because Faisal continually pushed me to go deeper, reach out to more alums, and dive into the unique offerings at each school. He didn’t let me settle for a surface-level essay. Finally, the application review by another consultant that MBA Prep School does was awesome. The second consultant who reviewed my application had a new perspective, and that helped me put the final touches on my essays to drive home my story. All in all, I would highly recommend working with Faisal. I had a wonderful experience working with him, and ended the process with 4 acceptances and $310k in scholarships, a result I hadn’t thought possible. In addition, Faisal is smart, thoughtful, and experienced, and I don’t think I would have achieved the same end result had I worked with someone else.
I was a reapplicant, my GMAT score was expiring in fall 2023 and had a less rosy entrepreneurship background (funding fell through, had to scale down expansion).
I spoke with almost 20 consultants before deciding to work with Faisal for the R1 2023 intake. During our initial call he was candid about my prospects but at the same time not outright dismissive, considering my background. Another thing that stood out about him was that he only coaches 5 candidates per round, this was evidenced by his reviews. This can be considered a con due to less exposure with candidates but his experience particularly Booth Adcom experience makes up for it; plus I wanted to work with someone who gives personalized attention rather than someone who coaches 50 candidates per round and follows an assembly line approach.
Every coach would probably have a mechanism to get to know the candidate. But Faisal’s MBA DNA document was very exhaustive, forced me to do a lot of self-exploration, and formed the foundation of my applications. During the application process, Faisal was readily available, and also gave his WhatsApp details to reduce turnaround time. The essays we put together were an enormous improvement from my previous essays.
In the package, a mock interview is included. When I needed another interview as I felt I needed more practice, he arranged it within 24 hours, on a Sunday, with someone who had prior Adcom experience (was on a deadline). I took a 4 school package with MBA Prep School, and Faisal went above and beyond and reviewed two other essays apart from the 4 schools. He also helped me with scholarship applications. It can be evidence from these examples that he actually wants you to succeed.
I will be attending Haas (with a USD 60k scholarship). Faisal has played a major role in me getting the said offer.
Court is an excellent mentor. I’m based in Chile and was inclined to book a local MBA coach but after doing more research and having an introduction call with Court, I felt that given his expertise with international folks combined with his deep understanding of the complex application process, I should hire Court. A few months later, after many ups and downs and Courts immense support, I got accepted at Columbia Business School and I’m very happy about the decision I made.
Court has an incredible storytelling talent, he helped me highlight my key experiences, skills, and personality traits. He motivated and supported me during the good and the difficult times in the process.
I sought MBA consulting to help me to navigate the admissions process and refine my application. When it was time to put pen to paper, I lacked the confidence to effectively communicate my accomplishments. Working with Court was the turning point of my EMBA application process. He is truly gifted at his craft and helped me find my voice in my application. By the time my interview came around, I was confident knowing that I had absolutely put my best foot forward in every detail of my application – thank you to Court.
As for his working style, Court is extremely accommodating and genuinely wants to see you win. Because I had a fast-approaching deadline, Court met with me evenings and weekends to ensure I was prepared to submit my materials on time. Court was judicious of our time together, and I left every session with a sense of ease. He is very personable, and kind and makes a great effort to understand his client and their story. Beyond the application, Court helped me critically think about my “why” in our work together which made me even more grateful to have found him when I did.
Needless to say, working with Court was worth the investment. I highly recommend taking any opportunity to work with him!
Fifteen consultants/companies. That is the number of MBA consultants I interview with. And Court was the last one I talked to among 15, and the best. Finding a good consultant is “dating”; sometimes, it’s all about feeling. I still remember the day I first met with Court. One year ago. Time flies. That day, I was tired due to the entire week’s work. But I immediately woke up because Court was full of energy and already had some questions specific to me and an initial plan.
Even before I paid the money, Court answered all questions and emails quickly and helped me to find connections with his previous candidates with similar backgrounds to learn more about what Court could help with. Court is a premium-level consultant, which means if you are looking at this testimonial now and Court already says he wants to work with you, you are amazing. Now the next step is showing your personality and unique story to those gatekeepers (admission team) of M7 and S16 schools. Court works in the Media industry; Court is an active writer of famous newspaper columns; Court is a professor, especially teaching people how to pitch. Court is an expert in teaching his candidates how to use an essay to touch the readers and how to let people memorize you in only one or two minutes.
M7, S16 schools are totally different. If you have watched Harry Porter before, I am sure there is an invisible Sorting Hat of MBA admission telling you are Gryffindor or Hufflepuff. Court will help you find your unique point of difference, link with the school’s unique culture, and specify your career goals and contributions to the school community. Court is a strategist, or let’s say, a “wizardkind.” If you decide to work with Court, please make every decision with him and trust him.
Trust me, sometimes during your application year, you will feel worried or even despair. At least, I was. And Court became a therapist. He never ever loses his trust and faith in me. When I need someone to give me advice or support, Court is always there, never leaving. Court brings out the best in me, and always takes my essay or other application materials to the next level. As a data scientist, when I build a prediction model, from 0% to 90% is easy. But every single improvement from 90% to 99.99% is much more difficult. Court and I persist together, to make my application to the 99.99%. Can you believe how many times we worked on a one-minute pitch? And try different versions of intros to make the pitch full of memory points.
I am grateful that now I have a friend despite the difference in age, a mentor with tons of life experience and significant accomplishments, and a person who shares the same VALUEs, with whom I can always talk to. I may still get into a good school without Court’s help, but with Court, I am becoming a better person knowing I have the potentials and abilities to contribute to the community.
As someone unsure of what admissions committees look for, I engaged with Faisal on an hourly basis in order to refine my essays and resume. Faisal helped me refine content in early drafts and perfect my presentation in later drafts.
One thing that I can say for certain is that Faisal knew how to make me stand out. I really appreciate that aspect since I am applying from an over-represented demographic, and I do not have flashy or prestigious work experiences. Faisal helped me hone my story in a way that appeals to business schools while keeping my entire application truthful and authentic.
Through round 1, I have been admitted to Booth, Kellogg, Columbia, and Yale SOM (with a half scholarship). I am truly ecstatic knowing I have so many outstanding choices on the table. I would not have been so lucky without Faisal’s help. Hiring a consultant is pretty expensive, but I consider the price of working with him an investment that paid off. High recommendation.
Court was the best thing that could have happened to my MBA Admissions process.
I started my journey by talking to a lot of potential MBA consultants, and I knew that Court was the one I wanted to work with as soon as I met him. In our informational call (before I had even signed anything), he didn’t just tell me what I wanted to hear. He gave me genuinely helpful feedback and things to think about in regard to my application, and he made it abundantly clear that he was the most experienced and thoughtful consultant of them all. It was clear that I’d be in good hands.
Once we started our engagement, Court was the perfect balance of instructor and cheerleader. He had a highly-successful method that made it so easy for me to self-reflect on my goals, identify my application themes, and understand how to craft my application. He also looked out for me by connecting me with extra resources for my post-MBA field, giving me advice on how to become a better writer, and truly tailoring the entire process to what would work best for me. Honestly, he wasn’t just a consultant. He was a mentor, a confidante, and even a friend.
Court helped me get absolutely stellar MBA admissions results. Thanks to him, I gained admission to three top MBA programs – plus scholarships! I truly couldn’t have done it without Court. I’d recommend him ten times over.
I worked with Court on my application to Columbia. Upon first meeting, Court and I instantly connected as we have similar career backgrounds. He took the time to understand my goals and desires with my application. I was a re-applicant to Columbia and working on a quick turnaround. Court worked to manage my timeline and put my best self forward. I worked with Court on an hourly package and he went above and beyond to guide me, was always available to answer questions, and used my hours efficiently. Court is an amazing MBA coach and is very kind and supportive. He invests in you and wants you to have the best outcome. Throughout the whole process, he was encouraging and gave me the confidence to believe in myself. I was accepted into Columbia which was my dream school. I recommend him to everyone.
I worked with Faisal for my applications to b-schools last year after I was referred to him by a friend of mine. I was in the process of finalizing a consultant and was meeting with admissions consulting firms left, right, and center.
The first thing that worked with Faisal was his brutal honesty about my chances. I was a male IT engineer from a non-IIT background applying with a GRE score of 325 (To most, these parameters are as close to a death knell as they can get) and Faisal was extremely candid about the fact. What I absolutely loved about him was that he did not shoot me down exclusively based on my score (like a majority of consultants did) or painted a very rosy picture of my applications (like a lot of others did). Faisal devised a plan for us to develop the application and focus on retaking the GRE in parallel.
Faisal works in an extremely comprehensive manner to craft the applications. Before getting started we worked on an extensive document to flush out all of my important life stories. The questions in the document brought out stories that I almost forgot existed. We then honed in on developing a compelling narrative across applications and together we drafted compelling essays (essays that I’m proud of).
I ended up with a T20 admit with a ~$45k scholarship. I can’t recommend Faisal enough. Post admit, Faisal has continued to mentor me and advise me on a host of things. I barely noticed when he stopped being the consultant and become a treasured mentor who had my best interests in mind.
I reached out to Court two weeks before the first application deadline, so it meant we had a really tight schedule. Despite the quick turnaround, he did not compromise on the quality of the app and helped me build the best application possible. He was very responsive and flexible throughout the whole time we worked together. I had a lot of material scattered everywhere and Court helped me focus the content. He is a great person to work with and supportive throughout the process and even after everything was submitted. He would regularly check in to offer support. I ended up being accepted to both schools I applied to (HBS and Wharton)! I highly recommend Court as he is not only a great MBA coach but also a person that genuinely cares for the success of his clients.
