Working with Kristen was one of the best decisions I made during the MBA application process. She helped me craft a compelling story that felt authentic while also making me stand out across highly competitive applicant pools. Her feedback was always thoughtful, direct, and actionable, and she was incredibly responsive throughout every stage of the process. Beyond the applications themselves, she was a trusted advisor in helping me think through key decisions and stay confident during a stressful process. Thanks in large part to her guidance and support, I was fortunate to gain admission to all four schools I applied to, including two T10 programs and two M7 schools. I can’t recommend her highly enough. Thank you Kristen!!
Kristen was a fantastic mentor and I’m so glad to have worked with her during the application process. A few of her highlights and why that worked well for me: 1) She recommended that we do a few brainstorming exercises in the beginning rather than jumping straight into the essay writing process. This helped me clarify why I wanted an MBA and my attributes to highlight in the application. 2) She’s an incredible story-teller and kept me focused on “why this matters.” I was able to deliver my points a lot clearer with her guidance. 3) I found her mentorship to be the right balance between constructive feedback without overbearing. She was always interested in my story and keeping it authentic to me, and never imposed her recommendations on what a good story should sound like. Overall, really fortunate to have worked with Kristen and would highly recommend!
Working with Melanie was critical to my success in my MBA application process. She helped me save time and effort by directing my thought process, cutting out the noise, and giving me the honest feedback I needed to iterate quickly. I would highly recommend her for anyone looking to begin their MBA journey!
Alan was an incredible partner throughout my MBA application journey. From the start, he helped me craft a clear, authentic story and pushed me to be specific and intentional in how I presented my experiences. He helped translate my messy thoughts into a cohesive story and helped navigate the areas I was most nervous about. His feedback was always considerate yet honest, which made a meaningful difference in strengthening my essays and overall application.
He was also patient, kind, and consistently available whenever I had questions or needed guidance, even up until the last minute before hitting “submit”. He made a stressful process feel much more manageable and I felt like he was genuinely invested in my success.
Thanks to his support, I was able to submit an application I’m truly proud of and was luckily admitted to my top choice program (HBS). I’d highly recommend working with Alan if you want a true coach and mentor throughout this process!
Sarah was instrumental in helping me earn admission to Wharton. She guided me through every stage of the process—from building a smart application timeline and preparing my recommenders to refining my essays into a clear, compelling narrative. She was also an incredible source of encouragement, giving me the confidence to believe in my story and move forward with conviction. Most importantly, she challenged me to dig deeper, strengthen my essays, and articulate my true motivations for pursuing an MBA, a career pivot, and Wharton specifically. I highly recommend working with her!
I’m not someone who typically leaves reviews, but when it comes to Melody and Vantage Point, I felt compelled to share my experience for anyone seriously considering their MBA journey.
Applying to business school while balancing a full-time job and everything else life brings is not straightforward. It forces you to pause and reflect deeply on your story, your decisions, and what you actually want next. That process can feel both exciting and overwhelming, and Melody was someone who showed up consistently through all of it, for the practical challenges and the emotional ones alike.
What stood out most was that she was never just an application consultant. She was a genuine thought partner. She listens carefully and asks the right questions so that your story becomes clearer to you first, before it ever goes onto paper. There were phases where I wasn’t even sure which MBA format made sense for me at this stage of my career, and rather than steering me in a direction, she helped me think it through in a way that let me arrive at the decision myself. That kind of guidance is rare and it made a real difference.
She brings a level of honesty, calm, and personal investment that’s hard to find. At every stage I felt like I had someone genuinely in my corner, someone who knew exactly what they were doing and truly cared about helping me put forward something that felt authentic to me. There were many moments I questioned my story or second-guessed my work, which I think is natural in a process like this, but I always came out of our conversations feeling more grounded and confident in what I was submitting.
Beyond the outcomes, what I valued most was how supported I felt throughout the entire process. Melody goes well beyond what you would expect from a counsellor. By the end, it didn’t feel transactional at all. It felt like I had gained someone I genuinely trust and will continue to turn to long after this process.
I was admitted to Columbia Business School, my top choice, and received a scholarship at NYU Stern. I honestly don’t think I would have gotten here in the same way without her.
If you’re considering working with Melody or Vantage Point, especially if you want someone who will challenge you, guide you, and help you tell your story in a way that feels both clear and true to who you are, I couldn’t recommend her more.
Working with Kristen on my MBA applications was one of the best decisions I made in the process. She had a sharp eye for what each program was really looking for and helped me strengthen my essays in ways I wouldn’t have seen on my own, pushing past surface-level edits to make sure my career goals came through clearly and authentically. She also overhauled how I was presenting my experience on my resume, tightening the formatting and framing so it actually told a story. What I valued most, though, was that she was never afraid to give me honest, critical feedback. When my application wasn’t where it needed to be for Round 1, she told me directly and pushed me to wait for Round 2, advice that was hard to hear in the moment but absolutely right. I genuinely don’t think I would have gotten into both Harvard and Stanford without her.
Kristen was INCREDIBLE to work with and made me feel comfortable asking her all my questions and always was great at talking through everything with me. Moreover, she was great with offline edits (not just live calls!), making it easy for us to iterate even when I was traveling. I cannot recommend Kristen enough!
Alan was great – super responsive, had both overarching and tactical feedback about what I wanted to do with my MBA and how to present it effectively. Would highly recommend him to anyone considering using a Consultant. With Alan’s help I was able to get into Wharton and Columbia. I’m so happy I was able to work with him through this process.
I had a great experience working with Iynna as my MBA consultant. She was insightful, strategic, and genuinely supportive throughout the process. From the beginning, she took the time to understand my background, goals, and personal story, and she helped me shape that into a much stronger application. Her advice was always clear, practical, and honest, which made a stressful process feel far more manageable.
What I appreciated most was how thoughtful and invested she was at every stage. She gave detailed feedback, pushed me to be more precise and compelling in how I presented myself, and helped me build applications that felt both polished and authentic. She was also a strong partner during interview prep, helping me communicate my experiences with more confidence and clarity.
Thanks in large part to her guidance, I received interview invites from 6 of the M7 schools I applied to and was admitted to 4 of the 6 schools where I interviewed. I am very grateful for her support and would highly recommend Iynna to anyone looking for a thoughtful, effective, and truly dedicated MBA consultant.
Throughout my entire application process, Caryn provided consistent, thoughtful support that meaningfully elevated my story. She quickly identified what truly differentiated my background and helped translate it into a clear, compelling application. Coming from consulting, I was really concerned about my GMAT score being slightly below the median at my target schools. But with Caryn’s support, I was admitted to Wharton, Sloan, and Kellogg (with two scholarships!) I also appreciated her ability to draw on the broader Vantage Point team when needed. If you’re considering admissions consultants, you can’t go wrong with Caryn!
I applied to the Lauder/Wharton dual degree program on a bit of a whim. I saw it as a long shot, but wanted to go for it anyway. Working with Iynna completely changed that mindset.
She helped me genuinely believe I had a real chance, which shifted everything. More importantly, she took my story and brought it together in a way that made me see how unique and powerful it truly is. The entire process became a huge confidence boost and pushed me to reflect more deeply on my own experiences.
What stood out most is how empowering her feedback is. Unlike other coaches I’ve spoken to, she doesn’t frame weaknesses as flaws. Instead, she helps you use them to add context and depth to your story. She creates a space where you can be fully authentic throughout the process. She is also incredibly thoughtful and detail-oriented, making sure you are actually answering the prompts, refining your resume, and even guiding how to work with recommenders so every piece of your application is strong and cohesive.
Iynna is not just a reason I got in. She is also a big part of why I received significant scholarships from both Wharton and Lauder. I would recommend her to anyone, without hesitation.
Caryn was incredible throughout my entire MBA application process, from refining my resume & essays to preparing me for interviews. She was extremely responsive, always available to answer my questions, and made me feel like no question was ever too small. Her deep experience and specific expertise with the schools I was applying to gave me a lot of confidence, and the resources and insights she shared were invaluable. The MBA admissions process can be so overwhelming, and I genuinely could not have gone through it as successfully without her support. I would highly recommend Caryn to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, thoughtful, and highly dependable MBA admissions consultant.
I’ve worked with Kristen for 4+ months, from identifying my strengths and career/life stories to the 5th or 6th round of essay edits for 4 schools. Her experience as a key part of Sloan’s AdCom, and from reviewing hundreds of applications really allowed her to give me specific, actionable feedback on bringing out my best qualities that were tailored to each school. She pushed me to go beyond the obvious, and was very patient with my busy work schedule. She offered up live time to chat through the essays, and also was quick to send back feedback offline as well. In the end, I was able to receive admission from Wharton with Fellowship, London Business School with Fellowship, and Sloan. Kristen is the best MBA Admission Consultant I could’ve worked with, and I would recommend her highly to anyone looking to apply.
I had the pleasure of working with Tim over the past year, and I can confidently say he was instrumental throughout my entire MBA application journey. From our very first conversations (when I was still unsure about whether to pursue an admissions consultant) to final submissions, Tim was consistently supportive, strategic, and encouraging.
What stood out most was his unwavering belief in me, especially during moments when I doubted myself. As I navigated multiple rounds of GRE/GMAT studying and retakes, Tim was always there to push me forward and remind me of what I was capable of achieving.
His feedback on essays was invaluable. Tim has an exceptional ability to refine writing – cutting down words while strengthening clarity and impact. We went through multiple iterations of each essay, and he consistently challenged me to dig deeper and find stronger, more compelling examples to tell my story effectively. He brought the same level of rigor and thoughtfulness to every part of the application, including my resume and recommendation strategy, ensuring I was always putting my best foot forward.
Tim was also incredibly responsive and easy to work with. His familiarity with my professional background, including experience working with candidates from my firm, meant he understood my role and could translate it effectively for admissions committees.
Beyond Tim, the entire Vantage Point team was fantastic. From detailed school-specific feedback to mock interviews, everyone I worked with was knowledgeable, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in my success.
I truly don’t think I would have achieved the same results, including admission to one of my top-choice schools, without Tim’s guidance. I highly recommend him to anyone considering an MBA admissions consultant.
I worked with Narmeen throughout my MBA application process, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish.
What stood out most was her ability to push me beyond surface-level answers and help me articulate a clear, differentiated story. She consistently challenged my thinking, especially around career goals and personal narrative, which made a real difference in how my application came together. Her feedback was always direct, structured, and highly actionable.
Narmeen also has a strong sense of what top programs are looking for. She helped me position my experience in a way that was both authentic and compelling, while avoiding generic or over-engineered responses. Importantly, she was very responsive and engaged throughout the process, which made a high-stress period much more manageable.
I was fortunate to receive offers from multiple top programs, including HBS, and I genuinely believe her guidance played a meaningful role in that outcome.
I would strongly recommend Narmeen to anyone applying to top MBA programs, particularly candidates aiming to refine their story and elevate the overall quality of their application.
Kim was an excellent MBA consultant who helped refine my applications and prepare for interviews. Her feedback on my essays and mock interview support were extremely valuable throughout the process. With her guidance, I was able to submit strong applications and ultimately gain admission to my M7 and T15 schools of choice with significant scholarship.
Kim was incredibly helpful, candid, and honest with her feedback in helping me shape my narrative. She always prioritized my needs and was extremely fast in responding to my questions and iterations. My most memorable moment working with Kim was late on a Friday night shortly before submission deadlines when she went back and forth with me 5 or 6 times iterating on the final touches of my story. She pushed me to make sure the exact message I wanted to get across came through. I was eventually accepted to 6 out of the 7 schools I applied to and will be attending an HSW this fall!
Rashi and the Vantage Point team take an incredible and reliable approach to the MBA application process. They suggested that I start with structured reflection before transitioning to specifics, and provided thoughtful offline materials that provided a strong foundation along the way.
I especially appreciated the accountability around clear checkpoints, the rapid responses to small questions, and the thoughtful essay feedback. The balance between live sessions to discuss my story and offline engagement felt exactly right.
Rashi took the time to truly understand my background and helped me shape my vision into a cohesive, compelling narrative for MBA admissions teams. She ensured I highlighted both the strengths I bring to the classroom and the areas I’m excited to develop during the program.
I’m thrilled to be joining the GSB Class of 2028, and my application simply would not have been the same without the support of Rashi and the Vantage Point team!
Chris was incredible to work with. Over several months, he supported me through multiple iterations of my resume, helped me thoughtfully select and position my recommenders, and guided me in shaping a cohesive personal narrative and professional brand. He worked with me through 20+ essays across 8+ dual-degree applications, providing detailed and strategic feedback at every stage.
Beyond technical editing, he helped me build confidence in my story and refine how I wanted to show up in these applications. I genuinely feel that my materials, and my clarity about my long-term goals, were significantly stronger because of his guidance. I would highly recommend him to anyone navigating competitive academic or professional applications.
Working with Timothy throughout the MBA Application journey was, without hesitation, the best decision and investment I made!!
He was outstanding from the thoughtfulness and expertise he brought to every single step of the process. From the beginning, Timothy took the time to truly understand my background, goals, and story, and helped me translate that into an authentic and compelling application. His feedback was always honest and constructive, which made a huge difference. Additionally, what stood out to me was his investment in my success. No question was too small, and no concern was dismissed. He was consistently available to connect, quick to respond, and incredibly thoughtful in his reviews. Every round of feedback was detailed, strategic, and timely.
MBA applications are overwhelming, and having someone who combines deep expertise with sincerity and professionalism is invaluable.
I would 1000000% recommend him to without reservation to anyone who wants to put together the strongest possible MBA application.
Chris was an awesome thought partner who pushed me to think about my career goals and find a cohesive story that connects my past experiences with my goals. He was extremely responsive, especially around deadlines, and made the process a lot less stressful.
Molly was a critical resource in the success of my MBA applications. She has a strong command of the admissions process, how to shape a complete and cohesive application, and was especially effective at offering thoughtful reflections to draw clearer meaning in my essays. Molly provided end-to-end support including timeline definition from GMAT/GRE testing to interviews, school selection, resume review, application planning and story development, essay refinement, and interview prep. She was also genuinely easy and enjoyable to work with – highly recommend!
TL;DR – Melody and Vantage Point are the best in the business. I would recommend them to my family, and I’m certain I wouldn’t have been accepted to HBS without them. Thank you, Melody and team!
I purchased the comprehensive three-school package with Melody and had the chance to work with several members of her team along the way, including school specialists and interview experts. The comprehensive package truly covers it all, and I highly recommend Vantage Point to anyone considering admissions consulting.
I connected well with Melody during our first meeting, which was a free 30-minute consultation that turned into a candid conversation that lasted over an hour. She maintained that same level of commitment throughout the entire process. Melody pushed me on every front: digging deeper, being vulnerable, connecting dots, and quantifying impact.
Without her targeted questions and thoughtful feedback, I wouldn’t have been able to craft a cohesive story that truly reflected who I am, what makes my experience unique, and how I would contribute to the class. She knows the HSW cohort better than I know myself, which helped me tailor my story to each school without changing its core or losing my voice. After speaking with others who used comprehensive packages at different firms, it became clear that Melody and the Vantage Point team truly go above and beyond.
Chris was an incredible support throughout my MBA application process and an absolute joy to work with. He took the time to truly understand my background and story, was consistently timely and thoughtful in his responses over email and during our meetings, and provided extremely valuable, tactical feedback on all of my application materials. He also has a deep understanding of how to support dual-degree applicants, offering equally strong guidance on both policy and business materials. Beyond his expertise, he brought a positive, encouraging energy to every interaction, which made what can be a stressful process feel manageable and even enjoyable. I genuinely would not have been able to submit the strength of materials I did without his guidance, insight, and support.
Chris was critical in shaping the strategy and story of my MBA program applications. More importantly, he was a thought partner to my overall career. From our first conversation, he added value in shaping how I thought about where I’ve been and where I want to go.
His depth of experience, particularly in the climate space, was invaluable. Chris provided comfort and reassurance through the ups and downs of the application process making it a much less stressful experience. He went above and beyond in turning comments on my last-minute essay submissions and offering his perspective and network to think through my career.
I would highly recommend Chris to anyone looking for a thoughtful, effective, and kind guide through the application process. Thank you again Chris!
Working with Kristen was one of the best decisions I made in my MBA application journey. She is incredibly kind, personable, and truly takes the time to get to know you as a person. From day one, I felt supported and understood.
Her background as a former admissions committee member was super valuable. She gave clear, thoughtful guidance and honest feedback that helped me put together my strongest application. I genuinely don’t think I would have gotten into both of my top-choice M7 programs without her help.
Kristen was a constant source of reassurance. Whenever I felt anxious or unsure, she was the person I turned to. She always knew how to calm my nerves and help me move forward with confidence.
I’m deeply grateful for her support and can’t recommend her highly enough. 10/10 experience
I’m so grateful I got to work with Joy! She offered deeply personalized feedback and coaching and helped me bring out the strongest version of my story during interviews. She has an impressive grasp of the characteristics that each school emphasizes and how to align your strengths with that. Her support played a critical role in my admission to Stanford GSB. She was also simply wonderful to work with- I can’t recommend her highly enough!
I greatly enjoyed working with Caryn throughout my MBA application process. I come from an overrepresented professional background (management consulting), and she helped me craft my story so that I stood out with clear goals and standout attributes. She specifically pushed me to craft my personal story in better, more creative ways. She was also very receptive and adaptable during the MBA process – when I had to pivot my application strategy due to some personal events, she helped me craft a personalized path forward that took new factors into account. With Caryn’s help, I applied to two M7s and was accepted to both! Highly recommend for anybody starting the application process.
I cannot recommend Sacha highly enough. She supported me through every stage of my HBS application, from early strategy and positioning through to final essays and interview preparation. Her depth of knowledge of the MBA admissions process is exceptional, and her feedback was always thoughtful, specific, and highly actionable.
What really sets Sacha apart is her ability to build confidence while pushing for excellence, she helped me clarify my story, strengthen my voice, and present myself authentically without ever feeling generic or over-edited. We were on a tight timeline but she stayed confident in me, and I always left our sessions with clear next steps and renewed confidence in my application. She dedicated so much time to me in those final two weeks before application deadlines, I couldn’t have done it without her!
Working with Sacha was truly invaluable, and I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone applying to top MBA programs.
I can’t say enough good things about my experience working with Iynna at Vantage Point. With her guidance and support, I was accepted to all 8 MBA programs I applied to, and am currently deciding between HBS and GSB. Iynna was incredible to work with throughout the entire application process and I couldn’t recommend her enough!
I came into the process with a lot of excitement and a unique story, however I lacked a clear throughline narrative to tie everything together. From the very beginning, Iynna pushed me to think deeply and spend a lot of time being introspective, which turned out to be the hardest yet most important part of the process. In the end, she helped me put together a personal brand that didn’t only get me accepted to my dream school(s) but also provided more clarity for my personal life goals.
What stood out most with Iynna was the energy and care she brought to every session. The process felt exciting and motivating because I truly felt like I had someone in my corner who cared just as much as I did about the outcome. She struck the perfect balance between holding me to very high standards and encouraging me to believe in myself, while also knowing when I needed to pause, reset, or trust the work I had already done. For example, reassuring me when I was convinced I needed to retake the GRE, but at the same time pushing me to give an essay another go when it genuinely needed more work. Just as importantly, she genuinely celebrated my wins with me along the way, which made the long and often stressful process feel much more human and rewarding.
Whether we were brainstorming application strategy, clarifying my short and long term goals, or reading and rereading (and rereading) my essays, Iynna was consistently thoughtful, engaged, and patient. She was always quick to respond to emails, talk me through any spirals, and share insights about schools, deadlines, or last minute changes. Knowing she was helping oversee the broader process and logistics gave me the confidence to focus fully on my applications. I truly do not think I could have navigated this journey without her support all year.
Overall, the service was absolutely worth it and far exceeded my expectations. I received deeply personalized strategic guidance alongside exceptionally thoughtful, high-quality essay support. Sacha’s perspective stood out in particular – her opinions were consistently sharp, insightful, and clearly grounded in a deep understanding of top MBA programs and what actually differentiates successful candidates. What I valued most was that this was not generic advice or templated feedback. Even as someone highly engaged in the process and coming in with strong initial ideas, I found Sacha’s strategic judgment meaningfully improved how I positioned my story and sharpened my essays at every stage. Her guidance on both overall application strategy and individual essays was intellectually rigorous, practical, and genuinely elevated the final product. I would strongly recommend this service to anyone serious about putting forward their best possible MBA application.
Tim was unbelievably insightful and brought clarity, strategy, and confidence to every step of my application process. He consistently took the time to understand my goals, gave thoughtful, detailed feedback, and was always available whenever I had a question no matter how small or last-minute. Thanks to his guidance, I achieved outcomes far beyond what I thought was possible, and I genuinely don’t believe I would have reached this level of success without his support.
I can’t recommend Melanie highly enough. She was an outstanding MBA coach and is the only reason I was accepted. Melanie helped me clarify my story, strengthen my essays, and approach interviews with much more confidence.
What really sets her apart is how thoughtful and personalized her guidance is. She asked the right questions even when I was stuck, gave clear and practical feedback, and genuinely cared about my success. Working with her not only improved my applications but also helped me better articulate my goals overall.
I’m incredibly grateful for her support and would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone applying to top MBA programs or looking for strong professional coaching.
I only applied to Wharton, UChicago Booth, and MIT Sloan, and I was fortunate to be accepted by all three. I came to know Kristen through colleagues who had applied to MBA programs with her guidance and spoke very highly of her.
I still remember my first conversation with Kristen. I was experiencing imposter syndrome and wanted to apply to additional programs as “safety schools” (though, of course, there is no such thing as a true safety school). Kristen gave me the confidence to focus only on the schools I truly wanted to attend and encouraged me to make the most of each application, rather than spreading myself too thin.
Throughout the process, Kristen was incredibly responsive and supportive. I cannot thank her enough for guiding me through every step. Even when I felt anxious, it was reassuring to know that Kristen was there, working with me to help achieve the best possible outcome.
In the final days before the deadlines, Kristen went above and beyond. She generously spent extra time over a weekend and even during the holidays to review my materials one last time. I still feel a bit guilty about this, as I had been overwhelmed by my full-time job and completed my applications at the last minute for Round 1.
I would highly recommend Kristen to anyone considering applying to an MBA program. She is extremely skilled at uncovering the strongest parts of your story and shaping them into a compelling, authentic narrative.
Caryn was instrumental in helping me craft my own authentic story for my MBA applications. I attended a regional university for undergrad and had limited work experience. She guided me thoughtfully through choosing schools, helped me prepare for each interview, and gave me support throughout the entire process. Thanks to her, I received interview invites at every school I applied to and ultimately was admitted to multiple schools including my m7 school of choice with significant scholarship funding. I truly couldn’t have done it without her.
I really loved working with Kristen. Without her, I know my application materials (essays, interview prep, resume) would have been very different than what I submitted. She pushed me to go deeper and provide more depth in my writing and create a cohesive story for my application that still felt authentic to me. She was also very direct with her feedback, never settling for less than what she thought was best or sugarcoating anything. We iterated back and forth many times on my resume and certain essays, and I was always able to meet with her when I needed to. I got into Booth, Kellogg, and Haas, and got scholarship money from two of the three. Kristen came highly recommended to me from a friend and former coworker, I would highly recommend her to you!
I couldn’t imagine a better partner than Melody to take on the admissions process with. From our very first meeting, Melody demonstrated both expert knowledge of the process as well as the desire and ability to draw out the deeply personal values, motivations, and experiences that were necessary to craft a unique and authentic application. Throughout the 15 months of working together, Melody was relentlessly supportive, positive, and true joy to work with. I applied to 3 M7 programs and was accepted to 2 of them, including my top choice and could not be happier with the outcome. I’d highly recommend Melody to any MBA applicant looking to dive deep into themselves and tell their story in an undeniably unique and personal way that will set them apart.
I had an absolutely great experience working with Tim and Vantage Point. From the very beginning, the guidance was structured, thoughtful, and highly personalised.
Because Tim had previously worked at the same firm where I am currently employed, he was able to truly understand my background and help extract the strongest elements of my profile and application. We went through multiple iterations of my personal brand narrative, and at every stage, the feedback felt tailored specifically to me rather than generic advice.
Tim was always flexible, approachable, and readily available to help—something that was extremely important to me during such a demanding process. Beyond the tactical guidance, he also played a crucial role as a motivator. Despite my slightly lower GMAT score, he strongly encouraged me to apply to my dream schools and believe in the overall strength of my profile.
I’m delighted to share that this resulted in me getting into my #1 choice and dream school, London Business School. I genuinely believe this outcome would not have been possible without Tim’s guidance, support, and confidence in me.
I would highly recommend Tim and Vantage Point to anyone serious about applying to top global MBA programs.
I had a fantastic experience working with Kristin as my MBA consultant. She was incredibly friendly and accommodating, especially with my challenging scheduling needs. Beyond that, her insights into the application process and essays were invaluable. She struck the perfect balance between utilizing my perspective and pushing for more specificity and depth. Thanks to her guidance, my essays truly reflected my brand and goals. The results speak for themselves as I got accepted into my top choice program!
I am thrilled to be starting my MBA at one of the Top 20 programs. My background was far from ideal. I did not have a strong career trajectory, had not been working for two years, and my GMAT score was not competitive. Getting into a top program felt like a long shot until I met Alan.
The training process with Alan was not easy, but it was incredibly effective. Even before writing essays, we spent a lot of time on reflection and brainstorming. At the time, it felt demanding, but I later realized how essential it was. Alan asked me thoughtful, detailed questions about my life stories, questions I would never have asked myself if I were doing this alone. He is an excellent listener and truly empathetic, which made me feel comfortable sharing my experiences. He then helped me connect those stories to my MBA goals in a way that was smooth, persuasive, and authentic. He is especially skilled at identifying and filling the gaps in an application.
Alan is also extremely dedicated and caring. The day before one of my deadlines, I thought I was ready to submit, only to discover several unexpected additional questions in the application. I panicked. Alan immediately stepped in, and we met three times that day, in the morning, afternoon, and night, to get everything done.
Beyond admissions consulting, Alan is a wonderful life coach. Whenever I felt emotionally overwhelmed or challenged, he offered wise, insightful, and psychologically grounded advice that helped me believe in myself and keep moving forward.
I feel incredibly lucky to have worked with Alan. Finding the right consultant was difficult at first. It is a significant financial investment, and there is always uncertainty about whether it will be worth it. I am so glad I did my due diligence and chose Alan. Zero regrets. It was a great investment. I was admitted with a half ride scholarship, and I genuinely do not think that would have happened without his guidance.
Alan is someone who truly upgrades your application and significantly increases your chances of getting into a better school.
I worked with Anna to support my MBA application primarily on HBS, and she was wonderful. I worked with her via hours, and ultimately leveraged ~6 hours with her to get a final set of eyes on my resume, essays, and app.
I especially appreciated how supportive and positive she remained while also always being extremely honest (something I really needed with the consultant I was working with) and pushing me when my essays didn’t fully convey the impact or message I was aiming for.
Ultimately – really enjoyed working with Anna and extremely grateful for her support!
Working with Melanie was one of the best decisions I made in my MBA application process, in large part because of the front-loaded work we did early on and how well she carried that clarity through every step that followed.
She pushed me to clearly define my story, motivations, and long-term goals before I started writing. That foundation made everything else more effective: essays were easier to draft and refine, messaging stayed consistent across schools, and interview prep felt focused and natural.
Beyond the upfront work, Melanie was excellent throughout the process. She is direct, strategic, and highly efficient, giving honest, actionable feedback and consistently raising the bar on quality. The process was introspective and demanding, but also extremely well managed.
I would strongly recommend Melanie to anyone looking for a thoughtful, rigorous, and results-driven MBA application consultant.
I came into the MBA application process feeling overwhelmed since there were so many pieces to juggle, and I wasn’t sure where to start. Melanie’s calm presence immediately grounded me, and she helped me break down what felt like an impossible task into something clear and manageable.
What I appreciate most about Melanie is her directness. She doesn’t waste time, and she gives honest, actionable feedback that actually moves you forward. During our early sessions, she guided me through branding myself, which is something I had struggled with on my own. Once the branding was locked in, the rest of the application process, including asset development, became easier and more efficient.
I strongly recommend working with Melanie, especially if you’re feeling unsure about where to begin or how to position yourself. Her clarity and presence helped a lot and I’m grateful to have worked with her.
Working with Melanie was one of the best choices I made in my MBA application journey. She brought a clear, strategic approach to every step, from shaping my story to refining essays and preparing for interviews. Her feedback was always direct, thoughtful, and genuinely aimed at helping me put my best foot forward. I felt supported the entire way, and her guidance made a real difference in my confidence and final results. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for personalized, expert support.
I cannot say enough good things about working with Kristen. Partnering with her was one of the best decisions I made during my MBA application process, and with her help I was admitted to my dream school, MIT Sloan.
I entered the process confident in my background but unsure how to tell my story in the strongest way. Kristen was incredible at helping me dig deeper and showcase the best version of myself. Her feedback was always honest, specific, and actionable, and her experience as a former admissions committee member really showed. She knows exactly what top programs are looking for and how to help you present yourself at your best.
Kristen was always responsive and supportive, which made an already very stressful experience a lot easier to navigate. When interview invitations came in, I was nervous, but her mock interviews made a huge difference. I walked into each interview feeling prepared, confident, and genuinely excited, and felt like I performed at my best.
I am incredibly grateful for Kristen’s guidance and support, and truly could not have done this without her.
Tim supported me through successful applications to my top schools, and made the entire process less daunting and much more effective. He helped me clearly showcase my background and experience, tailoring each application to individual schools. His feedback was insightful and actionable, directly improving both the quality of my application materials and my confidence throughout the process. Tim also helped manage timelines to allow for feedback from other Vantage Point consultants with direct experience at each school. Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend Tim to anyone going through the MBA admissions process.
Caryn provided wonderful support throughout the application process. She took time to understand my background and goals with an MBA and post-graduation, and made sure these were well-articulated in all parts of the application. She helped me stay true to my strengths and voice, all while providing suggestions to better articulate my points. I applied to programs with a strong healthcare focus, and Caryn was well-informed on the industry! I received acceptances from Wharton HCM, Kellogg, and Sloan and couldn’t have done it without her help.
Alan is a remarkably intelligent, experienced consultant who truly cares about his client’s success; I could not recommend working with him more. When I began the grueling business school application process, I wanted someone who would be honest about whatever it was going to take to get into a top tier school – and that is exactly what I got with Alan. Through lots of fruitful, introspective brainstorming and discussion Alan helped bring my best qualities and experiences to light, allowing me to refine my story to be the strongest it could possibly be. He guided me effectively through a journey I knew little about towards the school that seemed the perfect fit for me. Whether it was a trivial late night question or a major essay draft iteration, Alan was always there for me with straightforward and practical feedback. When it came time for interview prep, Alan was more than happy to meet on weekends and as often as needed to ensure I was thoroughly prepared for any questions that could be thrown my way and fully confident walking in. This is just one example highlighting Alan’s persistence, honesty, and attention to detail that make him such a valuable asset as a coach. I am ecstatic about getting accepted into my top choice business school, and very grateful for Alan’s direction that helped me get there.
I worked with Gina on my R1 application to HBS and Gina was integral to helping me shape my narrative on why MBA from the original exploration questionnaire to the final application. We went through a series of iterations and Gina was a great sounding board and editor to improve my application. She was also very helpful in writing my post interview reflection, giving feedback in a 24 hour timeframe. Couldn’t have done it without her!
I would NOT have gotten into Wharton without Sarah. She helped me refine my narrative and brand and did a great job tailoring my essays for Wharton. She was also just a joy to work with and made the full process (personal brand, the application, essay writing, interview prep) seamless and digestible.
