You have earned a solid GPA from a reputable university and a respectable 740 GMAT score. I appreciate that you are involved in your community and would love to understand more about the types of non-profit you’ve supported and the investment/impact you’ve made. To truly assess your odds, we could benefit from more information, so I will more use my review here to focus on some recommendations on where to dig deeper. The biggest “gap” I see in your profile as is listed here is the symmetry between your aspirations in pharmaceuticals and entrepreneurship and your experience/involvement to date. Is your manufacturing experience or non-profit work in the pharmaceuticals space? Have you demonstrated an aptitude for handing ambiguity and/or entrepreneurial roles in your life to date? Through your MBA Admissions campaign, you need to convince AdCom that your goals are achievable… and the way you tie your past experiences to add authenticity and merit to those goals is the way to do that. I encourage you to pull out that congruence between your past and your future goals by engaging in deep introspection that will get AdCom to place their bets on you! Self awareness and storytelling is everything in this process! Go get ’em!
