Post-MBA I want to work in corporate strategy in an international business environment. I don’t have any specific geographic preferences but given my ties to the German language/culture, I would ideally be working at a large multinational American/German company with a strong presence in each country which would likely be in Chicago or the east coast of the US. I would also be open to living/working in Germany.

Hi Mr. Baseball Analytics, I read your profile with interest because in addition to considering Kellogg, I definitely support you taking a shot at the European schools. Your higher levels of experience align well there; I’m pretty sure LBS will be all over your profile given the stint you’ve done in Germany, and if you are up for a shorter programme then INSEAD would also be worth considering. You obviously have a strong track record in terms of promotion and although you don’t mention much about leadership in this snapshot, I’d hope with the 7 years behind you and the Associate Manager title you have some solid people management on your resume. You offer a strong value-add in terms of analytics and your education industry …

You offer a strong value-add in terms of analytics and your education industry background, so have plenty to share with classmates targeting the rise and rise of Edtech opportunities. I’ve also just read up on how baseball divisions work in the US and am guessing that to play at D2/D3 level you’ve got some serious levels of grit and discipline! No issues around your test scores either, so I think the main challenge in the US will be convincing Kellogg that with more years under your belt you can compete for that corporate strategy role post-MBA. It would be great to learn more about your experience – please click the free consultation link below to discuss further.
