Well, you certainly tick a lot of boxes. What a great global flavour you have to your profile, both in terms of your work in Europe and Asia and also the multiple languages you speak. Your Supply Chain experience with a FAANG is incredibly relevant at present given the issues that so many industries are facing, and I imagine you have some stories to tell from the past couple of years! Your selection to their high-performance talent programme speaks volumes as well. At 29 you are likely to be edging towards the higher end of the MBA experience spectrum so the time is now. You already know how competitive HBS, MIT and Wharton are, but I think they will see value-add in your background even if your GMAT is just below their average – and the perfect 4.0 GPA is a pretty great way to mitigate any concerns about that. Candidates who have performed at a national or international level in any sporting arena are viewed positively for the passion and commitment those achievements represent, so your boxing is a big plus point. Make a good case for your switch to strategy consulting en route to your Supply Chain startup, and I believe that adcoms could just be knocking on your door.
