Since you just joined the startup recently and have under 3 years of work experience, in my experience I think you would be a stronger MBA candidate next year, once you have more accomplishments under your belt at your current company.
Your academics are solid, but based on how competitive the process is for Indian applicants (if I’m correct in assuming that this is your background, based on the fact that your GPA is on a 10pt scale), in the meantime you might even try bumping up the GMAT by 10 points or more. Your academics are solid, but based on how competitive the process is for Indian applicants (if I’m correct in assuming that this is your background, based on the fact that your GPA is on a 10pt scale), in the meantime you might even try bumping up the GMAT by 10 points or more. Also, Darden values community involvement, as do other top schools, so before you apply (assuming you do wait until next year) I encourage you to get meaningfully involved in an activity in an area you’re passionate about (volunteerism, sports, the arts – anything you would find enjoyable and feel like you’d make an impact in).
