Currently an elite gymnastics coach at the top gymnastics club in the Pacific Northwest. I am looking to expand my impact base work my way into the administrative side of sport as a president of a national or international governing body for sport. My plan is to strengthen my business acumen through an MBA program and a stint in consulting.
Poets&Quants has been such a great resource for me as I don’t have any acquaintances with MBAs. I am reapplying to a couple of schools this cycle and tried to improve my application through improved test scores. I have a 660 GMAT, then I switched to the GRE and scored a 328. What are your thoughts on how schools will evaluate that switch?

In my personal life, as an elite athlete, I led the American men’s gymnastics team to a second-place finish while earning myself two individual Bronze medals at the 20th World Maccabiah games. As a coach, my athlete won the 2021 Junior National Championships and I was awarded a national achievement award for excellence in coaching.
I plan to come out of my MBA program and enter consulting for a few years before transitioning back into the sports industry as a C-suite executive for a national or international governing body for sport.
