Hi, it’s Nisha with mbaMission. You have outstanding academics (and the CFA on top of that!) It’s also great to see that, on top of a progressive career at prominent firms, you’ve managed to found a nonprofit startup that operates in such an important space.
Since you have the building blocks of a strong profile, I think the key to your candidacy will be application execution. You’ll want to explain the motivations behind your post-MBA goals and how an MBA will help – why would you like to return to consulting, what type of impact do you want to make in the short and long-term, and what are the skills/experiences you need from an MBA in order to achieve these ambitions? …

If you do this effectively, I think you’ll be a solid contender. Hope that helps – best of luck!
Hi Mr. Indian Financial Engineer, This is Donna Bauman with Stratus Admissions and it is a pleasure to weigh in on your profile. What interesting interests you have in both finance and non profit. You have very impressive stats—and it is great to see that you have also obtained your CFA. The key to your success at Wharton will be research—Wharton wants to know why you feel they can help you research your goals and also how you can add value there. The people who take the time to talk to students and research clubs and resources at Wharton—and take the time to think about how their own background can help add value at Wharton—are the ones who get interview invitations. I think if you …

The people who take the time to talk to students and research clubs and resources at Wharton—and take the time to think about how their own background can help add value at Wharton—are the ones who get interview invitations. I think if you can secure an interview and then present well in the TBD process that you have some great odds at Wharton. The best time to start doing your Wharton research for next year is now—because students in the spring term all can reference their fall experience. At Stratus we encourage our clients to go deep in doing their school due diligence and the details uncovered in this process can really help give your application the specificity that builds authenticity. We encourage you to get started on this now if you have not done so already! Please reach out for a free consult if you would like to discuss your profile further.
