I worked for about 2 years in the Real Estate family business and then pursued an MSc in Finance in the UK. Currently, I have been working as a Private Equity advisory analyst for a global firm, placement with the US team although stationed in an overseas office.
I am applying with test waivers at MIT, NYU, and Cornell. Holistically I see MIT as the best fit when factoring in long-term goals, but Cornell and NYU do have a strong IB focus for the short-term.

– Helped family business navigate tough economic times. – Switched careers from engineering to the broader Private Equity industry. – Lived and worked full time in 3 countries (GR, UK, DE).
Looking to pivot into IB/RE or secondary buy-side role (PE Co-invests etc) in the short-term, in order to start my own business sooner than later. Very interested in MIT due to the startup focus and entrepreneurial culture, also increasingly important to meet like-minded people and maintain a network to pursue ventures down the road.
