I have worked at Accenture and KPMG for about 3 years now and plan to apply to business school for a class of 2026 seat. In my free time, I am a director at a stuttering non-profit start-up and am involved in Toastmasters. In college, I was a two-time captain of an Indian Collegiate dance team that won a national championship.

I have overcome a stuttering disability that really held my life back and I now work at a non-profit, helping others get over their stutter. I now compete in public speaking contests where I have received awards. In addition, I was ranked the #1 analyst out of 10 analysts at my first consulting firm during promotion time.
I overcome a stuttering disability with the help of a non-profit that I now work at but they struggle to market and branch out their organization as a new business while competing with other non-profits that claim stuttering is not curable. I want to earn an MBA to help this organization grow and help millions of others overcome stuttering.

Hi Mr. Consultant and Speech Coach! Can we just call you Mr. Well-Rounded instead? Consultant, Dancer, Speech Coach, and overcame a disability that you’ve now turned into your largest strength? Sign me up! Honestly, my biggest question for you is “why the wait?” If you apply in 2023 or 2024, you’ll be in that sweet spot of 4-5 years of experience upon applying and you have fantastic experience to back up applying with around the average years experience of most HBS applicants. Honestly, my biggest question for you is “why the wait?” If you apply in 2023 or 2024, you’ll be in that sweet spot of 4-5 years of experience upon applying and you have fantastic experience to back up applying with around the average years experience of most HBS applicants. You’ve achieved a tremendous amount in your years and I don’t feel that you need a longer period of time to prove your worth to AdCom. I might suggest you consider 1:1 Diagnostic GRE tutoring to get that score up in the meantime, as that is a key vulnerability in your profile for M7 programs and you don’t necessarily have an overwhelming impressive undergrad GPA to prove your academic capabilities. Work hard at that GRE over the Winter and I’d place some large bets on you being successful in apps next year ‘Mr. Well Rounded!’ And, serious kudos to you in all that you’ve overcame and how you’ve devoted your life to helping others follow in your footsteps!
