Stanford loves PE candidates and brings in and spits out more MBAs into PE jobs as a percentage of the class than any other business school in the world. Stanford loves PE candidates and brings in and spits out more MBAs into PE jobs as a percentage of the class than any other business school in the world. You have a master’s degree from one of the world’s top universities. Plus, there is the 4.0 GPA and the 760 GMAT. I also assume that you are European, which is also a plus. The only area that is wanting in your profile is that X factor that Stanford often seeks: evidence of your ambition for other people, not merely yourself. Sure, you were a TA and tutor in undergrad but that’s pretty much it unless your “mentorship” is for those in disadvantaged positions. Nonetheless, the rest of your profile is music to the GSB ears. I would pack my bags for the West Coast.
