An Economics major who has worked as a consultant in India, UAE, and Israel for the last 6 years. Currently heading consulting and implementation for an Israeli Retail Tech startup for the Indian market. Stuck between a low GPA and High GRE, I am trying to figure out if some of the M7s are in my reach, especially Columbia with its J-Term.

The Owner/CEO of the organization ended up giving me the “Employee of the Decade” award and a lifetime supply of 1 watch/per yr for the rest of my life.
With 6 years of work experience working with boutique management consulting firms in the Retail and FMCG space across India, UAE, and Israel, In the short term, I want to work with a global consulting firm (MBB, Kearney) as part of their Retail and CPG team and build a venture of my own in the retail tech space in the long run.

I see that you are targeting a global consulting firm post-MBA. The J-term at Columbia is designed for applicants who do not seek an internship experience or who have existing strong networks in their industries. It may be challenging to achieve your goal without an internship.
