I have been part of the CFO unit for larger buy-side public and private equity funds running FP&A at the Corporate level. I have been doing this for 10 years then joined a startup running all of FP&A and part of strategy. I currently lead, create and pitch to investors for a next round of investment. I manage all of the firm’s cash flow, projections, and analysis.

– Helped get two rounds of investments but decided not to due to terms for the startup. – Managed diligence for PE and VC firms looking to invest in us.
I’m looking to break into either PE or smaller fund but now on the investment side or CFO for a fund or larger startup whoās looking to go public or be strategically acquired.

Hello Mr. Skyline! Thanks for posting. Krista from mbaMission here. If Wharton and CBS are your dream schools, I encourage you to look at their EMBA programs. At your age and level of experience — and GMAT score and GPA — it will be tough to crack the full-time programs. To be clear, I’m not saying you won’t be successful! It’s just that the competition as this level can be really really tough and you really need to deliver across all elements of your candidacy to make the cut. You may just find it easier to make the case for EMBA programs and position your candidacy. I would encourage you to add some safer programs too if you can’t get your GMAT up to the class profile averages of CBS and Wharton. All the best for your applications, Krista
