For HBS (which gets extremely strong applications every year and has the unenviable task of choosing who makes the cut) the key to maximizing your chances will be application execution. In particular, in the “What more would you like us to know?” essay, you’ll want to do some deep reflection and shed light on the formative experiences and values that have gotten you to where you are today. One question you’ll likely find yourself answering: what drove you to create the medical device startup, based on your observations and what change you desired to see?
