Tough Love Alert: Because of your 2.4 at the University of Richmond, you really have to take the GMAT again and do better than a 680. More than that, you need to explain why you did so poorly during your undergrad years. Perhaps there was some sort of personal tragedy or illness that derailed your progress? If you don’t have a legitimate excuse for doing so poorly, you really need a significantly higher GMAT score to give admissions confidence that you can do the quant work in an MBA program without much difficulty. It’s a plus that you worked in business development for a Fortune 500 company. Not knowing what kind of startup you currently work for, it may or may not be an asset on your resume. Ditto for Chicago Booth, if not more so. I would take a serious look at other programs ranked between 15 and 25 unless you can get your GMAT score into the 700+ range and build out your extracurricular involvement. But you’re not getting into Darden or Booth with these stats and your background.
Man, you partied way too much in Richmond.
