Candidate:

Mr. Street Field, CFA

About Me:

I am from a pretty small European country, currently living in a major middle eastern city working in development finance (Investments with development impact in emerging markets and fragile, conflict & violence-affected states). This firm is the largest DFI (development finance institution) in the world, and I joined after 2 years at a major EU bank.

I am very curious to hear what the waitlist odds are like.

Big Life Wins:

– During my LLM, obtained a selective scholarship (~5 students p/a) from a foundation under royal patronage to intern in Washington, D.C. for a summer.
– Obtained my CFA charter.
– Staffed on a USD50m+ investment that is crucial to food security in a middle eastern state currently suffering from widespread food shortages and violence.

Post MBA Goal:

In the DFI world, there’s the distinction between HQ (Washington D.C.) and the field (anywhere else). Recently JP Morgan started its own DFI to channel USD100bn to emerging markets. I hope to go work on the Street with JPM, but continue to serve the Field doing so. I believe JPM is well equipped to boost development. Next best I’ll return to my DFI.
