I really like your vision and the focus of your target school list on programs that are well aligned with your goals. While you may be on the younger side, I presume that you went to a 3 year undergrad program if you already have 3+ years of WE. Your stats are right at the averages for NYU and UCLA. You didn’t list any extracurriculars – hopefully you have some but just didn’t include them.

You didn’t list any extracurriculars – hopefully you have some but just didn’t include them.

To find a seat at either NYU or UCLA, you will need to tell a compelling story that ties together your passion through there MBA resources to put you on a path to acheive your goals. Do this and you could have a seat.

You might also want to look at USC Marshall (LA location, Cornell Johnson and CMU Tepper. Although Cornell isn’t in NYC, their first year class (class of 2022) has only 30% women so they will likely be looking to increase their women in next year’s class. Similarly, Tepper has only 25% women in their first year class. Carnegie Mellon has great resources around film and ties to LA.
