What led you to choose No-Pay MBA’s network?

I’ve always felt there was knowledge I was lacking that was preventing me from providing the best contribution and best work that I could be doing.  An MBA education seemed like a way to help potentially fulfill these gaps I viewed that I had.  But as much as I desired to re-enter a traditional classroom setting to expand my knowledge, I could never allow myself to remove my involvement and stop my work for our firm, especially during a time of expansion.  When the No-Pay MBA program came about I recognized this as a way to continue my work while allowing myself to learn from quality sources and apply new knowledge in real-time.

What do you hope to get out of the program before you finish?

-Engage my ideas, management practices and business philosophies with others around the world.

-See other members of the cohort grow themselves, their careers and achieve their business goals. step by step.

-Be a positive influence in another’s development.

-Take our firm to greater heights!

What do you plan to do with your business education after you complete it?

In my case, I am not thinking about what I will do with my education after completion but rather how am I able to apply everything learned immediately to the growth of our business.  I am happy to say that a significant amount of change because of the knowledge brought forth through the power of MOOCs and the guidance under the program has allowed me, my team, our firm to implement real business practices that are beginning to reward us.

What advice do you have for people considering No-Pay MBA or other non-traditional means of getting a business education?

Know what you want to do, as there are quality resources being made available to help you achieve your business goals.  Don’t think that because of the flexibility of the learning method that you should feel no pressure.  Think and try to implement everything that you just learned right away to your business or the work that you do.  The greatest benefit you get is the flexibility, the opportunity to put your new skills to the test in real-time.
