At International Coil Ltd., I was part of the team involved in world’s largest district cooling CHP project with non-electric chillers in Gurgaon DLF cyber city using Rolls Royce 501-5.2 MW multiple turbines and Caterpillar engines exhaust. Hello Mr. Technocrat! Thanks for posting. Krista from mbaMission here. I am going to cut to the chase…your age may hold you back at LBS. I’d suggest you look at the LBS Sloan program, which is geared towards experienced execs like yourself. You’ve listed all UK programs so that seems to be your target. If you are open to US programs, take a look at MIT Sloan Fellows, which is also geared towards execs. With your sustainability background, I think these programs will really like you. What I love about both is that they are willing to chat with you on the phone before you apply. I encourage you to reach out to each program and see if you can get some time with them. I …

Hello Mr. Technocrat, it’s Lisa Cummings of Stratus Admissions. Your stats certainly fit the profile for LBS and your other schools but your years of work experience are well above their average of 5.5 years. That will be an issue for traditional MBA programs. Perhaps you are considering an EMBA program- you certainly would be a fit there. I’d like to hear more about your post MBA goal- as written it’s quite vague. You will need to bring that in to sharp focus so schools can see how a degree will allow you to achieve your goal. Additionally, without specifics, it will be hard for you to answer the Why MBA question in a meaningful way. I am not sure reading …

Additionally, without specifics, it will be hard for you to answer the Why MBA question in a meaningful way. I am not sure reading this whether you are still at International Coil (you use both present and past tense verbs describing your role) and are running Water Foods on the side or if Water Foods is your full time job. Do you intend to stay in these roles or this role or are you looking to pivot or change?. You still have time to hone your narrative and lay out your path so it makes sense to adcomms. I would rate your odds higher if you were targeting EMBA programs. Best of luck to you!
