I admire that you are using your skills in finance for social impact. It will be important for you to share the WHY behind your interest in making an impact in the third world. Is there a specific area that is of personal interest to you? Education, healthcare, housing?
Last year I worked with a Berkeley alum whose GPA was below 3.0. He is now at Booth. It will not be impossible to overcome your softer undergrad performance. However, you need to SHOW admissions committee that you are a different student today than you were during college. Right now your GMAT isn’t helping you for Wharton, CBS or MIT Sloan since you are …
