Hi, Ms. Risk Taker, Julie-Anne Heafey here from mbaMission. You have some amazing achievements that should make the adcoms sit up and pay attention. I’m not sure about the converted undergrad degree. A 3.0 is low for a US degree, but I’m not sure if the grading system translates in the same way – this can vary by country, so I’d need to know more. The GRE is low, so I’d agree with the retake plans to position yourself better. I think my main questions are around what will happen to your company while you attend b-school and understanding more clearly your future plans. HBS is always tough, but I’m rooting for you, so I’ll put you just a little higher than the average admit rate even though your stats look low. I’d like to know more specifics on your post degree goal, schools will too. They need to know that an MBA is necessary in order for you to achieve your dreams. Speaking of dreams, given your school list you are aiming high. All your schools are in the most competitive tier. With a 3.0 GPA and a 310 GRE, those are going to be a big stretch. Your years of work experience are outside the normal range for a 2 year program as well, have you considered and EMBA or part time program? …
