Hi Ms. Social Business, Julie-Anne Heafey here with mbaMission. There is a lot to love here, from your strong GPA and GMAT (above average for your target school) to your impressive socially-driven achievements and clear passion for your work. I’d say the main questions would be around why get an MBA at all, and what exactly your next step is specifically. You’ve spent so much time in housing and health, why the shift to education? Clarifying your motivations for this sector switch, your transferable skills and reason for the MBA should all be on your list, but you are clearly an achiever and I think your odds are excellent if you execute well on these answers! Best of luck!

There is a lot to like about your profile – strong stats and work experiene with a clear commitment to social impact. I can see that INSEAD would be very impressed. Their application essays are long and involved. To be successful, you will need to craft a story that connects your past experiences to the vision you have for your future. It isn’t clear to me where your interest in education comes from. A more compelling story might be for you to do MORE as it relates to housing and health – perhaps an initiative at the intersection of those two through public/private partnerships.
Give your interest in social impact, I would also suggest that you take a look at Yale SOM and Oxford.
Wishing you all the best on your application journey!
