Graded: After successfully completing all course requirements, students can receive a verified certificate (Cost: $50). Description: Your idea may be game-changing. Without a process, you’ll never produce a viable product or service. In this six-week course, students will learn the stages for conceptualizing, designing, and launching a solution. In particular, you’ll study how to effectively conduct user research, generate ideas, produce and test prototypes, and refine your specs. Using strategies from design practitioners, coupled with Delft’s own signature methods, students will develop the tools to produce designs that truly meet customer needs. The course will be taught through videos, readings and quizzes. However, students will be given the opportunity to practice what they learn through design exercises and evaluate their end products through benchmarking videos. Review: “This was worth while and an enjoyable class. The assignment was relevant and practical and enabled the students to apply elements of what was learned to whatever situation was relevant to them. Would recommend to others.” For additional reviews, click here.
