Credentials: Moizer is the dean of the Leeds University Business School and a professor of accounting. A Ph.D. from the University of Manchester, Moizer has taught at Leeds since 1989. Before that, he worked in the public and private sector as an advisor and auditor. Shepherd is a senior teaching fellow in accounting and finance at Leeds. Before entering academia, she worked as a manager at PwC.
Graded: Students may complete an optional exam to earn a statement of attainment.
Description: Money is the lifeblood of any organization. In this course, you’ll get an introduction to the fundamentals of accounting and finance. After completing this course, you’ll understand how cash flow impacts all facts of all organization, as well as how financial principles are used to grow and sustain an organization. The course will be taught through a set of videos that feature business leaders in companies ranging from Adidas to Save the Children.
