“The thing that sticks out most to me is the feeling on campus of competition,” says Paul Allen, director of recruitment and admissions at Lundquist College of Business. “I know that business schools can be competitive. But the kind of competition we have at Lundquist is unique. I would compare it to street basketball. You are very competitive and everybody wants to leave it on the court but everyone is high-fiving it and giving hugs and going out for drinks afterward. That is the kind of program we are. There is a lot of great competition but this is a community and a family.”
