Phyo is a 24-year-old professional who works as a chief of staff to an executive director for a private conglomerate in Myanmar. A citizen of the Myanmar, he earned his undergraduate degree in business from the U.S. at San Jose State University.
He has a 3.4 GPA and has ranged between 650 and 700 on his practice tests for the GMAT. His post-MBA ambition is to land a job as a consultant.
And his target business schools are HEC-Paris, INSEAD, London Business School, Oxford Said, UVA Darden, and Michigan Ross.
But with a 3.4 from a state university and just a couple of years of work experience, he has a steep hill to climb to get into those schools.
